Hi

We are stuck in the PC version of the Lion King game on level "Be
Prepared". We get to a point where we are on a rock, with a one-up
below us, but there seems to be no way to break down thru the rock.
There is also no way forward or backward! So you know exactly where I
mean, there are some lava-geysers we have to jump over also on the
screen.

Hope someone can help, it's driving us frantic!!

Thanks in advance

Here's the answer to your trouble!!! When the gyesers stop shooting
out Lava, jump on top of them, and slash at the big Stalagtites hanging
from the ceiling. Five hits will bring them down, and they'll knock out
the rock. Just be sure not to be UNDER the falling stalagtites. =)

Glad to be of service!

I am discouraged at this game. In the computer version, there is a place
(it's happened to me 3 times) in which I am on the last level, searching
all of the places for scar. Well, one of the rooms, has a hyena that
drops to a lower level. I can't kill myself because there are no spikes,
or anything, and the hyena won't just go away. I have had to quit many
times there, and it is frusterating. I know

Geez, you finished the whole game thre times and got to that part? I can
finish every level except for the last one [what the hell do you do with
Scar at the end, after you`re punched his 150 times? Really lousy way to
make a game longer. First platform- 50 times. Seconf=100 times, 3rd=150
times. And then he just keeps moving away. I`ve tried jumping into hom, to
make him throw me over and fall down, but he just mauled me in mid-air...
And how do you do that throw-over stuns that`s seen in one of the demos with
a hyena? ].
Anyhow, the most I finished all-together without cheatinf was to the HM
level [damn waterfall. I even know a secret way to shorten the jumping part,
but still can`t finish it]. I don`t have the will to replay the same levels
over and over again just because I ran out of lifes on level 7 or
something... :/

Oh well...

LOL!! Heh... poor Sichi.... It's easy! Whatever you configured the
"Maul" button to be (that is... if this follows alot like TLK for
SNES... It has a "Maul" button)... walk up, facing scar, and "maul"
him. Simba will throw him, then. =)

Too bad they don't make him fight any dirtier! The way it is on the
Super Nintendo... it's too easy!

They have to be facing you... butif you run up and press the "Maul"
button (there again... if it exists for you...), Most of the time,
SImba'll flip them like flap jacks! It just takes a little practice...
(like my typing)

It is easy to take out Scar. Just hit hime a couple of times, so he
gets like "tired", then walk over to him and press Maul & Slash at the
same time (Left shift and ALT on pc if u haven't reconf the keyb).
That will throw him over your head. Just repeat this process a couple
of times, and voila, scar will run to the next platform. On the top,
you'll have to do this until he gets really tired (You will notice
when he stops attacking you, and justs stands there with his tounge
hanging out of his mouth, you'll have to push him all the way over to
the leftedge (leave a little room for you to stand on), then jump over
him and throw him (MAUL+SLASH) over your head. Voila! Game Completed!

And Remember... This game is a lot more fun if you quit cheating....

*grumbles something too ugly to decypher*
Oh well, I`ll just cheat my way to the end again. I don`t have the will to
finish 10 levels without a way to save or get a code in between them anyhow.
The only game I did this for was Tyrian ... And if anyone knows it, I
finished it on arcade [no saving positions, limited lives] on impossible
difficulty level [you have to cheat to even get it]... But what`s 5 hours of
gameplay? *lol*
Broken back for one thing...

> Too bad they don't make him fight any dirtier! The way it is on the

Yeah, it`s easy, but boho-ring. Just repeating the same thing over and over
again... Yawn... I started amusing muselg by jumping on him. If you paws the
game at a right moemnt you ger really interesting ScarSimba position results
;)
*dodges a rock*
Hey, I`m not the only one that does it... Am I? ;)

I dunno. If I press maul he just rises to his backpaws and starts waving his
paw around. Pretty useless, since the first punch pushes them away, so they
get hit once anyhow...

Well, as a game reviewer here said: "I enjoyed the game, but because of it`s
nitpicking I really enjoyed burning the disks after I`d finished it."

Ah, thank you! So that`s the combination... Maybe I just don`t play enough
fighting games to amuse myself by random combinations, looking for secret
punches ;)
Wither that, or it shows my lack of a manuel... Um, due to the fact I
accidentally dropped it into a fire, not anything else, I assure you ;)

Nope! You don't know how comforting it is to know I'm not alone.
heh. I played around with ALL the critters he could do that to... would
pause it, and say, "Yet again, another instance where Simba became
abusive in a relationship. (because normally, he was hitting them at
the time...) The National Enquirer will be pleased." It cracked me
up. =)

No, you're not close enough... or you didn't hit him enough. you have
to run u[p against him, and then press the button. Too bad you live on
the other side of the world... I could show you.

And has anyone done this while recording the game on VCR? Get screen
captures? I'd do it if I had the game but don't. I once accidentally
recorded a game of Zelda I was playing once, now that was funny thinking I
was getting something off disney and I play the tape and it's Zelda! Anyway,
just a thought about these pics. I'd kinda like to see what the game looks
like. I never got to get it and can't find it now for ANYTHING.

*ROTFL!*
Heh, you should see one I got with Scar... I bet that is I screen-grabbed
that pic, there would be another 50 groups of crazy women more, complaining
about Disney and boycotting him/it ;)

Too late, finished the game today. Neat ending too :)
You have to press BOTH maul and slash plus be very near him.
The only problems were:
1. My putter`s too fast. Unless I selected an option in the main screen in 3
seconds a demo started. Now you try to tyre DWARF and select the right
option. Not as easy as it sounds. Especially if you stupidly choose the keys
that are used in the word dwarf for action keys... OY!

2. Keys jammed. If I selected ctrl-slt-shift for action keys [like I usually
do] I couldn`t run right and jump. *ooops* *woof* *fried Simba*

3. Well... My lack of practice. Though I loved to finally see the ending :)
Even if without any sound...
