"SCAR! Brother! Help me!!" Mufasa cried in desperation as he clung
to the side of the cliff. Scar watched with a acold demeanor as he
noted the face of his victim before the act of killing. Quickly now, he
digs into the flesh of his soul's meal. The fear slowly becomes usurped
through his claws, and feeds his beating heart-- all the more at a
quickening pace of excitement.
To finish his predatorial feeding, Scar stabs at the drying well before
him. "Long live the king!" The void in his dark heart being fed, Scar
tossed the used vessel aside to be mortared with earth by the poundings
of the pestal-like hooves. He laughed at the helplessness Mufasa all
the more vindicated with a horrid, drawn-out scream. A smaller one off
to the side also caught his ears, and he grinned and laughed all the
more when he realized it was Simba he heard.
He was about to head off in the direction of where Simba was, in order
to push him in as well, but then he heard an uprising in the stampede
below him.
Mufasa was climbing back up the cliff face!
"Gods, you have stamina, Mufasa!" Scar scowled as he cuffed the
bleeding paws until they lost their grip again, and allowed Mufasa to
fall yet again into the stampede. This time, however, Scar didn't leave
for Simba when he heard him scream again. This time, he watched exactly
where Mufasa fell. And lo, His body leapt out of the mass of hooves
again!
The flesh was hanging loosely, and in some cases, ripped off
completely, and the limbs, continued to extend, and grab ahold of the
next crack in the rock face ahead of them.
This was getting too much. Scar began to hurl rocks at Mufasa, in hope
that he will finally die. One particular rock hit him squarely in the
face. It's sharp edges clawed at the side of Mufasa's head, as the
weight caused his body to slide down a few feet from where he was. When
it left, a piece of his face left too. In place of it, was an eye
glowing blood red, and a skull of metallic luster. Fear was no longer
the fuel for Scar, it suddenly turned on him.
In fear, he began to hurl bigger rocks at mufasa, and try to send him
back into the gorge before the stampede had died down. Fear began to
whisper to him that Mufasa will live, and his plan will fail. Fear
whispered to him, and said that he was going to be dead soon. More
rocks were thrown, and more flesh was knocked off. Finally, Mufasa was
knocked back into what was left of the stampede. Scar continued to
watch with his legs buckling from the worry of his brother's return, as
he heard a familiar scream off in the distance again to accompany the
fall.
The stampede finally finished coursing through the gorge, and without
Mufasa returning up the face of the cliff. Now Simba will no longer be
thrown into the gorge, but it no longer mattered as to how he would meet
his fate. Scar sighed contentedly, as he gazed into the floor of the
gorge. What met his eyes only gave him a sickened horror.
Where a crushed pulp should be, there was a creature unlike any he had
seen. Once again, it got up, and shook what remained of a furry pelt
off of it, and glared at Scar with two red, glowing eyes. With the sun
shining off of it's skeletal body, the metallic creature leapt again at
the rock face, and began ascending towards Scar for the fourth time.
This time, Scar realized he was done for, and just began running--
running away from as far as he could get from the creature. But he
could hear a rhythmic clanking of it's paws as it closed the gap between
them. He could feel it slash at his hind paws, and cause him to trip.
He could feel it dredge up his heart from his chest, and crush it in
front of him. he could see the metal jaws close in on his throat, and
then suddenly--

Scar woke up. With the sweat pouring off his body, and with his bodily
excretions and loss of breath plagueing him, he looked out of his cave
to see the sun just beginning to creep over the horizon. Today was the
day.

The End.
