Don, thank you for giving me the chance to talk with Lea.

Lea, i'm not sure we were having the same conversation since my cell phone

time to chat with my hubby and me and signing the CD. Everything he said is

Lea, if you're reading this, or if anyone would kindly direct Lea's attention to
this post:

Chuck and Steve have been reported to Earthlink (Netcom is owned by Earthlink).
They might receive warnings, or might lose their accounts, it depends. They sure
can come back. Just keep reporting them to the abuse department. Please,
somebody's got to do something around here.

Just for future reference: It's best to report a violation of Acceptable Use
Policy or Terms of Service within 24 hours of the incident. Also, forging email
address to get around killfile/filters (which Steve has been doing) can be a
violation of TOS/AUP by itself.

And then of course, an alternative is to have your attorney send a letter to the
legal department of the ISP, if it escalates further.

I think this "Steve" character is a little more complicated and tech-savvy than
he seems, just so that you know to be careful in any future dealings. And, I
wouldn't be surprised if he has multiple ISP accounts.  By the way, he has had

this Netcom account since back in '94 when Netcom was just a startup based in
San Jose so I doubt he would love to lose it :

http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=blu...@netcom.com&sa=N&tab=wg

This Maih Jongs character is a different story (well, if she's not Steve). She
is ill-intentioned most of the time but technically she hasn't gone as overboard
as Steve and Chuck "yet". You'll have to wait for another time to report her for
abuse.

To be honest with you, I think the best way to completely get rid of the
malicious trolls and posts is to move the discussions to a moderated web-based
forum. The moderators can delete posts or ban users at their discretion. They
don't owe anyone the right of free speech.

To the oldies: Frankly I wish "some" of you have been a little more sensitive
and caring of Lea's feelings these past few days. After all, Lea is a real
person who has been right here with you for years, and this IS a newsgroup for
Lea fans. "Some" of you....... well, I would have said something better than
"who cares" to a nameless stranger on the street and I would have wished anyone
well in their endeavours, not to mention that Lea is not a nameless stranger.
You sure are free to care as little as you wish or scream against FDS as often
as you like, but please respect those who do care a great deal and appreciate
the fruit of her hard work, right here in HER fan group, right here in front of
her.  It pains me to see some of the things around here.

Lea please take care. I really wish you well in everything, although my wishes
are unnecessary.  You didn't make it this far without having weathered a few
storms.  I absolutely have no doubt you will always prevail!  Blessings. :)

Seraph, I don't appreciate you talking about my online journal for all to
see. Those thoughts were not meant to be shared. And you have no idea what
you're talking about. For one thing, that entry wasn't about the trolls. It
was about the fact that people reply to them instead of ignore them (and
that includes you, moron). How dare you post about my private thoughts and
feelings? You, my dear, are the biggest troll there is. On the killfile you
go.

I've come to the conclusion that Steve is just a sad individual that wants
everyone to be as miserable as he is.

There really isnt a darn thing you can do about him except ignore his
comments ( the latest one from Lea was primo though!) When he says nasty
things, consider the source. They mean absolutely nothing. Giving him
attention is what he's looking for.

Oh and btw, you have alot of nerve mentioning someone's website contents
here at the ng. If it was meant to be talked about here, it would be. You
stepped over the boundaries there and are just as bad as the trolls.
Whoever you are, keep your assumptions about how we feel to yourself until
youve checked in with us.

Steve will disappear in one of two ways. He'll leave when noone gives him
attention OR he'll choke on one.
