For many of you, in addition to meeting or seeing Lea in person, have you also
had other encounters with or seen (even if it's just a little glimpse) or even
just getting an autograph from any other celebrities.
For me, haven't seen many famous people actually upclose though from a distance
I have (e.g. Al Roker (weatherman for the Today Show), Bob Newhart (this was in
Atlantic City back in the '80's), etc.) But, probably the most surprising for
me was when I got Jennifer Lopez to sign a picture that I had of her which she
also personalized when she was filming a movie in New York City over the summer
called "Maid in Manhattan".

Some of you already know this, but I'm friends with a number of former
Miss Saigon cast members.

He was also in one of my favorite episodes of Charmed. :)
I met Danny Bonaduce. Does he count? Heh.
Anyway, he was a DJ at a radio station here in Philly at the time. He was
giving out some prizes, and my mom happened to win one of these prizes. Part
of the prize was to have Danny drop it off at our house. Danny Bonaduce
stood in my living room, hehe.

Did he ask to get naked and hide in your closet?

*snort* OMG, that story was even funnier than my dream from the other
night, AND it required a lot less explanation than my dream did! Hahaha.
Or did it . . . ? ;o)

You know the supermarket? =) I guess you asked around, like your friend who
has a son in Ateneo, the one that visited you recently?
How do you know? Who did you ask? We might know him/her, too.

Ohhhh my Goooooood!!! He was PERFECT in "Red Dragon!" Yay, Edward
Norton! What play did you see him in, Trey?

Must be corresponding with someone Filipino to know the supermarket, at
least if you really know it from someone else telling you about it. I'm not
implaying anything, though.
I've been fine. Back to school last week. *Sigh* I miss having no school
already, hehe! And it's been hot here! Still not yet holiday-cool, hehe!

yes he was!! i think it's his best role so far, next to the one

it's called "Burn This", with catherine keener ("being john
malkovitch") and 2 others. it's a revival of a play that
originally starred john malkovitch and joan allen.
it will re-open at the union square theatre next week, but this
time starring elisabeth shue and some guy (not that anybody who's
not ed norton is only "some guy".. i just forgot his name,
heheh).

I got Kevin Spacey's autograph when he came to film his next movie last year at
the University of Texas at Austin. He was very gracious and joked around with
us students. Very nice guy though he had really dirty fingernails. Another
celebrity would be Dave Chapelle when he came to the Capital City Comedy Club
here in Austin a few years back. He was downright funny. Some people spotted
Sandra Bullock in the audience but I didn't get to see her. I saw Bill Cosby
and many pro-tennis celebrities when my family used to go the US Open at
Flushing when we lived back on Long Island. I think that's about it with my
celebrity encounters. Oh, and of course there's Lea with autograph, pics, and
short chat from my Mecca MS '99 pilgrimmage with Tracy.
