An Invitation to Lea, from San Francisco

Dear Lea,

 

I read in a recent post that you would love to revisit SF.  I saw you here in concert

and had the good fortune to have a photo taken with you at the backstage of

MS last year in NYC while attending a conference there.

 

I understand that you once considered becoming a doctor, and pediatrics, as I

recall, was one of your choices for a specialty. I am a pediatrician here in the

Bay Area, in private practice with a group of internists and family practitioners.

Why don't you come visit us here in the clinic and perhaps get a glimpse of what

lifie would have been like for you if you were not in the theatre?  You can make

rounds with me in the hospital as well, if you care to meet one or two of my

patients who are always thrilled to see friends, or visit the nursery to play with

all those cute, adorable, beautiful babies.

 

If you should have a chance to come by or pass through SF and you're tired of

hotel cuisine and service, my family and I would be so honored to have you as

our guest in our humble home.  You're welcome anytime.
