"Remember that the best relationship is one in which your love for each other
exceeds your need for each other."
AOL now offers access to e-mail and some content via its website, which is
available however you connect to the Net.
However, unless you have a large number of people who have your AOL address
and cannot readily be given another address, I would urge that you drop AOL,
which advocates and practices censorship.

Just connect o AOL via TCP/IP. AOL as a result turns out cheaper, as AOL has a
special BYOA (Bring Your Own Access) price of less than $10 a month.

sprynet, aka mindspring, aka earthlink rocks.
You connect, and then you're on your own.
I highly suggest them.
At the same time that I've had earthlink, I've also played around with
other major ISP (no names will be mentioned, especially not AOL and
MSN). Frankly, neither of the unnamed companies come close to comparing
to the freedom, flexibility, and reliability of earthlink.
There, now where's my $50 promotional fee?

Some, if not all broadband connection companies allow you to use them as
a connection, but not an ISP (ie: you keep your own ISP).
i totally agree with all of the above. been with earthlink for close to 3
years now, and so far no problems. they even lowered my monthly $19.95 fee
to $14. ;-)
