I love them both. I've been a long time fan of them. I just love their
beautiful lyrical voices. I remember collecting articles about them
back in the 90's when they're still doing Miss Saigon. I fell in love
w/ Lea's voice when I first saw "The Heat is On" (Making of Saigon).
When she's learning the song "Sun & Moon" w/ Shoenberg on the piano.
Lea's voice was very round. Mackintosh's group were amazed upon
hearing her that they leaned against the piano mesmerized. Wow! She's
so brilliant too.

Monique(Lea's understudy), she's also a favorite of mine. I like her
singing "Too Much for One Heart" it was sweet. I guess she and Lea
have the same technique in singing. They sound alike. I watched her
perform on TV & concerts and wow! she sings like Lea too especially in
high pitch! I heard that her portrayal of Kim was very very good and
that she sang "I'd Give my life for you" w/ great conviction. I read
good reviews about her "emotive & expressive acting". I wish Lea &
Monique would do another play again.

So that's it. What Ever happened to Baby Jane? the movie. In the cases
of Lea and Monique, Neither of the two have been forgotten by the
public, It's just that Lea chosed broadway and wants to expand her
career there while Monique succeeded in fulfilling her biggest dream
and that is to establish her own theatre company here. And both of
them are very very successful in their field. No one's left behind.

Interested to know the numerous successful projects
(drama/musical/concerts: here and abroad)of New Voice, just ask
me!!!!!

Your original statement was

> I wish Lea & Monique would do another play again.

And as I said, 'Whatever Happened to Baby Jane' was a joke.
I was making no comparison between the ladies and the movie.
That's a very brief disciption of the movie, BTW, and if it
were a musical it would be a great project for *anyone*

I seem to remember it being done as a play, anybody?

Watch the movie, it's very good.
