Trying to find anyone out there who might be able to help repair my
Mathmos Airswitch TC 1 (the chemical flask-looking one). I'd considered
it dead, but then after literally years of nothing it suddenly sparked
to life yesterday though still not functioning correctly. After I
unplugged it to try and clean the sensors hoping that might be the
problem, it now stays dead again.

So summary:
* Hasn't shown a light for literally years, but I'd left it plugged in.
* Had occasion to turn the house's electricity on and off, to my utter
amazement when I came back in the house the lamp was on
* Could not control the light, not responding to hand movements in any
way (so could not turn off and on, and could not control brightness)
* Unplugged to unscrew the lamp assembly and remove the dust.
* Plugged back in, no light at all anymore - back to how it has been
for years.

Any trick for me to look at? Am told it has a memory chip to remember
the last brightness setting, maybe there's someway to reset it that I
don't know about?

All help appreciated.

Cheers,
Ian
