The DETR in July published it's latest attack on our Rights of Way
Network.

To obtain your copy telephone 08701 226236 and ask for:-

'Improving Rights of Way in England and Wales'.

If you wish to respond, your response needs to arrive by 15th October
1999.

However until our various green laning organisations get together and
form a co-ordinated plan of action, we can only blame ourselves for
more losses.

I have often asked - 'What is it that the Rambler's Association have got
that enables them to get more access while we get less ?'

Yes, ONE organisation with many local sections, more money and those in
high places (and on local councils) within their membership.

Our LARA, ARC, ACU, AWDC, AMCA, BMF, BORDA, B&BWT, DORA, GLASS, MFU and
TRF need to wake-up before it's too late, as do so many of our local
clubs.

Is there someone with the time available to co-ordinate a "Save our
Green Lanes Heritage' organisation ?

Please note, I only subscribe to the first two NGs.

Alan, G4ENS.

Where do you want to go today ? Somewhere stable - away from Windows.
