Well that's it I've been thinking about whether to keep the dam thing or not
and after getting a look at Grumble (and a few whispers from said truck)
myself and my partner are going to convert not 1 but 2 101 ambies and take
them around the world hoping to ship out in about 4-5 yrs time.
you have been warned there will be lots of swearing as I can't see it all
going according to plan as I can't afford someone else to do it, so they get
the hassle.
but it should be a laugh (with quite a few tears to go with it).

QUICK SOMEONE TALK ME OUT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K.

Hi Kay,

Did you make any progress with the auto conversion? I'm very tempted,
but I'd be interested to hear if you had done similar.

Grumble is a dangerous beast - I come over all enthusiastic when I see
him and my credit card starts itching...

You'd be mad to miss out on a chance of a lifetime. If you don't do it,
you'll regret it.

Hi Tim

Its one of the things on a growing to do list, but it is a necessary
requirement for mine as I can't drive a manual any more.
My credit card maxed out ages ago so all parts buying is on hold for now but
there is always stuff to do that don't cost anything (or so they say)

Yeah ha!!!! Looks like we got us a convoy....well....I can follow you as far
as not having a passport (yet) allows anyway ;-)....oh then theres the
petrol...h'mmmm

Seriusly though Kay Go for it and you need to chat with Neil on the yahoo
101 groups who's done Africa in a radio bodied one, if you've not already
read his expolits well worth a chat with him.

Also consider getting some big guns to sponsor the trip...but I wouldn't
have a clue where to start.

I haven't been to a dentist in 15 years. It's not that bad yet.

As MD I was actually running the board meeting, so it was pretty poor
form that I couldn't be arsed to contribute much and spent most of it
surfing google for rolling roads.
