Put out your hands Pattie and" feeeel " the love.

I do hope that your life is just as full, enjoyable and inspirational
as Ben's
who as a mere mortal knows his limits and has pushed his boundaries to
the extremes he can handle.

I didn't push as far because I am a little lazy nevertheless still
content

Can you or the enigmatic androgynous hortatory Muse say the same?????

Just curious?????

Georges Clemenceau regarded war as too important to leave to generals.
Perhaps we could make a case for language as too important to leave
just to doctorates... (Just look what a messy confusion Jack Rosenberg
made of language....)

Let's ask this seriously dumb question again least you ignore it: How
full a ~life~ in your estimation, does Ben have?

Gimme a quote, Bruno. Prove to me your assertion that Ben's writings
demonstrate that Ben knows his limits.

you've established the link between ~experience~ and the Subjective,

Wow Muse why are you so icy and bitter especially during this festive
season
and so close to Christmas.
Just because I made an assertion that

"I do hope that your life is just as full, enjoyable and
inspirational
as Ben's "

What has got up your nose???????

Its all there in his writings, telling us about his service life, his
travels , encounter with different cultures,
his understanding of other people, his vulnerabilities and how he
overcame them, his passion for water rafting
and sailing, his passion for dancing and his good fortune to find a
great partner and companion and enjoy life
to the fullest at a grand mature age.
Now isn't that something to be joyful about????????

My comment about Ben knowing his limits is merely an observation or
comment. Any successful person knows what they can achieve
and what they can't. Its inherent in the successful actions they
partake in.

Interesting how you totally ignore Ben;s achievements and totally
focus wanting evidence of his limits???????
Why is that so important to you Muse?????????

Well I miss Kenny 's dialogues and encounters with you Muse.
His presence was a breath of fresh air in moving the clammy, sweaty

My questions have less to do with making sense for me than with
checking the validity of your claims. Every evasion and delay counts
against you in the eyes of readers.
You omitted to answer a question... Which ranters have "clammy, sweat
thought processes" apparently lingering around them, Bruno?

So how goes the research on establishing the long-promised connection
which you made between ~experience~ and the Subjective, Bruno? Have
you any progress to report?

Correct and don't you agree that Ben has been very successful in life
in
all the fields he has encountered.

Why are you so finicky and laboring on this point Serena????
You are looking for a hair in the gate of the Cinema Camera when its
not there!!!!

Okay if you really care about the readers ( which is a stalling
tactic)
lets put it to the test.
Will the readers please stand up and be counted if they give a rats
arse
about our conversation and my perceived evasions and delays as
reported
by our local Queen Muse Serena Nordstrop????????
Have a guess???

And the inspirational rest of the story which you have left out!!!!!!!

Muse what have you got against Ben apart from that he is smart enough
to have cottoned on to your game and had you against the ropes many
times.

Is it because he enjoyed Est and sailing with Werner???? and the other
100
pursuits and challenges he has successfully completed!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Muse .

Is there any Joy in your life??????
Just curious???

Cheers
From your newly retired boyfriend down South.

They gave me the arse at work finally because of Budget cuts, but then
they offered a small package as a parting gift.

Had I left on my own accord I would have got nothing.

1001 things to do now that I am free but I can't face any of them.

Muse can you guide back on track once again.

I have a gut feel you work in the mental field as a Psychiatrist????
When can I make an appointment.
I assume the first one is free on the house????

Thanks Ben.

Funny about the beard I have a motley one also.

Have had it since I met my wife, and when I tried to
shave it off my family disowned me so I was politely
asked to grow it once more.

Merry Christmas to you Ben and a big hug from me to your
lovely Mum.

All the best to you and your family

So when Ab Cole writes " [...] since there is no limit to how much
better you can become, there is no limit to how much better you can
make your life" in 'How to Win Always' (ISBN 9781438966014
http://books.google.com/books?id=K6gGbbN5168C ) he does not direct his
message at people who have become successful or at people who will
become successful ?

I have no ~opinion~ on Ben's alleged success. I know of Ben only from
his posts.

Have you confused my question about your linking ~experience~ and the
Subjective with my other question (which have also not answered) about
progress on your research into linking ~experience~ and the
Subjective ?

You claimed Ben as a role-model for "any age". I checked what you
actually claimed. You confirmed your claim and invited further
discussion. I suggested a couple of cases for discussion. Would you
prefer to modify your claim in the light of my cases? Or would you
prefer to evade the matter?

If I wanted to discuss Ben's claims I would discuss them with Ben.
Since I want to discuss Bruno's claims I discuss them with Bruno...

Of course you don't have to prove anything, Bruno. Not if you don't
stand by your observations or comments. And not if you prefer to see
them those observations and amments questioned and undermined by your
lack of support for them...

You made up the concept of "the enigmatic  androgynous hortatory
Muse". In this very thread. Prove otherwise if you want.

In the interim I will assume that no ranters have "clammy, sweat

demonstrate otherwise.
Subjective, Bruno ?

You claimed Ben as a role-model for "any age" when you wrote:

" [...] let us all be inspired by our good friend Ben my role model
in illustrating how life can be lived at any age ,"

.  I checked what you actually claimed by asking:

"any?"

You confirmed your claim and invited further discussion when you
wrote:

"Yes any got a problem with that??? Please explain"

I suggested a couple of cases for discussion by asking:

"Cocktails for 2-year-olds? Yacht-crewing for nonagenarians?"

Would you prefer to modify your claim in the light of my cases, Bruno?
Or would you prefer to evade the matter?

Happy New Year my wonderful Muse.
I hope yours was more exciting than mine.
I was stuck in a wee country town called Gembrook and valiantly
searched for
a community dance in the local hall however unfortunately for us the
town was
as dead as a door nail. We met a local who told us " Its pretty quiet
around here"
so we returned back to the Log Cabin we were staying at and saw the
New Year in
between watching an old Jame bond film.
Pretty boring really. Just after 12 we went to bed.

for
boring conversation.

Hey, you forgot to explain your estimation of the fullness of Ben's
~life~, Bruno. ..

> Happy New Year my wonderful Muse.

Thank you. I hope you have a more enlightened year, whenever it may
start...

You ~ chose~ not to unstick yourself from Gembrook... What can I say?
Something about blaming the ~victim~?

Nothing wrong with the old James Bond as a form of sexist nostalgia.

> Pretty boring really. Just after 12  we went to bed.

Some societies regard it as normal to go to bed at some stage during
the hours of darkness.
You have a ~choice~, Bruno: shape up or get laughed out.

Whenever I quote so-called ~werner~ so-called ~erhard~ it counts as an
agreement party too?

And when Anthony Robbins's publishers call his book "Unlimited Power"
they don't market it to the successful or to those who will become
successful?

Big "if"!
How would a double-blind trial work (in logistical terms) to produce a
fair and balanced survey with neutral wording?

I agree that nobody has any need to "do" rosenbergism.

Help me define and learn the limits of my "blind spot" then.

Just a mere play on words my Muse.
Really by whom?????
You and Pau????????

No one to date gives a rats arse about your requests.
Even Pattie has kept out of the conversation.
Go ask their Marketing department who their target audience is and you
will get
your answer.

Unfortunately you find that hard to do!!!!!

Not really.
Sorry I can't.
I have tried but it seems that my observations, comments just don't
have the logic or the persuasive power to bring you out of your
shell.

I do wish you a wonderful logical exciting New Year

Do we conclude that any rosenbergist use of ~stuck~ - as a "mere play
on words" - has no value?
You can see for yourself the sterility of the unanswered question...

> You and Pau????????
>
> No one to date  gives a rats arse about your requests.

I don't do ~requests~, Bruno. I do ask questions. It amuses me to see
the lengths people go to to avoid answering them...

What connection do you make between the Subjective and ~experience~ in
Caligari/Nietzsche, again?
Really?

You don't have an ~opinion~ yourself on the attraction of "unlimited
power" for the would-be successful?

You have an ~opinion~ or a ~position~ on Mongolian foreign policy in
1940 or we call you "spineless", right?
You find it easier to cast aspersions than to solve perceived issues?

Not at all Muse.
Its all in the perception and I am glad you have finally come around
to at least acknowledge perception .

Did I not say Perception comes before logic.

Our differences are in our perception of some of these issues.

Pretty simple really.

Don't know why you are so hard on not acknowledging the value of
Ben's experiences though?

Its all in his posts.

Pity you can't see the relevance and the fact that Ben has led such a
successful life.

You can't hack that can you , and all because he stated he had
enjoyed his time with Est.

Boy you certainly are carrying some monkeys on your back!!!!!

As Pattie says "" Put out your hands and feel the love""""

Still no answer to the question. Have I accidentally hit on one of
the unanswerables? ... Yet you regard Ben's ~life~ as "full"...

Might as well ~try~. <Adding ~stuck~ to examples of rosenbergist

Got a counter on your website where one can work out what does and
what does not trigger a hit on your refusals to risk ~making yourself
wrong~?
Oh, silly me! I thought the context trumped the second-hand content...

Even though "people that don't have opinions, makes a totally boring
encounter" and "If one is spineless not to have an opinion or
position, it does make
for boring conversation" ?
Therefore no ~opinion~ or ~position~ on the matter? Despite all the
parallels with Australia?
I can see how it might slow things down and reduce the pool of the
surveyed. Do you want that?

If someone implies a liking for rosenbergism, they get some questions
to answer. If they don't answer we stand on the sidelines and laugh at
the dodging of the questions...

Okay, fine.
Lets place a period.
I don't have a problem making mistakes my fair Muse.
Forum brought that message home to me.
I suppose that what you don't like to hear that most people that
participated in
ESt/ Forum got something out of it.

No I can't. If you have blind spots and can;t see the writings, I'm
afraid I can't help you.

You must be a lawyer with all these word games you wish to play.
If I believed in past lives I can just see you as the Grand Inquisitor
tormenting ordinary good folks because they did not tow the religious
line
of the day.
I think you get off tormenting people???????

Is this correct???
Yes or No will do!!!!

Buggered if I know Muse.

No need to account anything Muse, I am more than content with
my perceived world.
It seems to me that you are bitter about yours.

You can laugh all you want Muse, in fact it may be good for your
health
and help to dissolve the block of bitterness you seem to carry around
with you.

By the way Muse does " We" stand for Serena Nordstrup and the
androgynous Pau????

I fail to follow the logic of your "must" there, Bruno. Would you like
to:

1. explain the relevance of your conclusion?
2. Demonstrate the steps by which you reached said conclusion?

No point in getting ~stuck~ about ~stuckness~ when we've so much else
to decry and belabel...
OK: What connection do you make between the Subjective and
~experience~ in Caligari/Nietzsche?

Got a counter on your website where one can work out what does and

Suppose away. Suppositions about my likes and dislikes have zilch do
do with discussing rosenbergism.

I'll worry about when you provide solid evidence of what numbers got
what out of rosenbergism.

Ah -- this sounds like a matter of belief rather than a matter of
providing evidence. Thus the question becomes: what provides the basis
for your stated belief in your ~chosen~ ~interpretation~ of Ben's
every ~word~?

I don't trust everything I read on the interwebs, Bruno. Strange, huh?

Chalk it up: another Brunotick claim rejected for lack of evidence.

Easier to ratchet up the distrust of all claims filtered though

Non sequitur.

I can accept that (somehow) you acquired at birth or thereabouts an
innate ability to treat Serena Nordstrup differently from any other
entity. But setting that aside, can you point to any other
characteristics which "ranters" have apart from the audacity to open
their mouths?
So I can refute any of your claims (including the claim that you have
no answers for me) simply by asking a question and waiting for the non-
answer?

Of-course its my belief that what Ben has posted is true period.
I thought that was a given!!!!!!

Bully for you.
There is the difference. I trust Bens postings.
I don't bullshit and I don't expect others
to do so. I do live in a world that gives people the benefit of the
doubt
and when proven wrong I bear the consequences.

And I thought it worth checking that you didn't have a more
substantial basis for your statements, other than mere belief. You've
convinced me that you rely on belief in this instance. Hence my
question, which I repeat for you benefit: what provides the basis for
your stated belief in your chosen~ ~interpretation~ of Ben's every
~word~?

Oh. Does the world do a deal with you to the effect that it gives
people the benefit of the doubt? Does it publish a set of rules
stating inter alia that people get the benefit of the doubt?

Following what model?
And by the way, what connection do you make between the Subjective and
~experience~ in Caligari/Nietzsche?

All these years we've discussed things, and now you suddenly don't
want to talk to me about important matters like ~interpretation~ -- or
even about trivial nuisances like beliefs...

I'll ~try~ again: what provides the basis for your stated belief in
your chosen~ ~interpretation~ of Ben's every ~word~?

OK, let's work on the basis that you do NOT live in a world that
gives people the benefit of the doubt.

But then you will have bullshitted.

Albeit inadvertently, no doubt...

Getting closer to the point where you cannot or will not assess the
degree of fullness allegedly detectable in Ben's ~life~.

So in claiming a full life for Ben, then not substantiating your
claim, you bullshitted? -- Careless of you, Bruno!

I don't know that one. Does this Nordstrop person publish a diagram or

And further, what connection do you make between the Subjective and

Or did you bullshit about that too?

and has an androgynous friend called Pau.
No of course not Muse. It was your bullshit question that takes the

(Weird name, by the by.) So: Does this Nordstrop person publish a

Ah. Then you can tell me what connection you made between the

Practical would be more the word.
No selection needed Muse its a choice.
You mix and have encounters with people that you choose.

Why the spin Muse.
Anyone has the choice to stop the conversation anytime they choose.
It's democratic.

Partly right.

The general and most informal word , emphasizes freedom in choosing,

I have no reason to not trust Ben;s postings or Ben for that matter.

Is it because he was invited to sail with Werner and you were not?????
I think the context was different Muse.

Trust resembles belief. It doesn't justify anything in itself. Your

Thank you Ben. You have confirmed the existence of what I termed a
"dictionary [...] with the imprimatur of the Lord ~Werner~" -- a
sacred text. Moreover, one might ~possibly~ detect a ~distinction~
between Bruno's 1975 "World Dictionary" and your unreferenced "Merrian-
Webster" (by which I assume you may mean "Merriam-Webster").

I wonder what dictionary (if any) starred on the podia back in the
days when so-called ~landmark~ so-called ~education~ staged so-called
~forums~ in Sweden...

Anyway, using Bruno's quoted criteria -- ' "Choice" The general and

one chooses and in the number of possibilities from which to choose.
( World dictionary Page 365 1975 edition)' -- would you yourself
judge, Ben, that "when some ~forum~-~leader~ insists you plump for

I haven't (for example) psychoanalyzed you one-to-one, Bruno. But you
yourself may have the ability to detect the basis for your trust/

I sometimes detect a pattern of behavior. Perhaps such a pattern could
come from deeply imbibing rosenbergism. Or perhaps from hanging around

You made an assumption. Get over it.
I made a clearly-labelled suggestion that we make a certain
assumption. Ben has provided supporting information tending to support
the proposed assumption. Objections?

Get over what??
Please explain yourself????
Ben I can remember setting up the trainers Podium and making certain
the chairs were straight
a real pain in the arse. Our fair Serena would just love that type of
work making certain all the t's and p's
were dotted. Just up her anal alley.
I could also see her as one of those pompous, anal Supervisors that
follows everything by the book just like
a robot. Fortunately there were many fine people in the team and that
took the pressure off the anal bits.
I moved to Sound ASAP and therefore as long as the Microphones wwere
working you were left alone and could be in the room
where all the action was.

You know Ben I have led a more conservative sporting life however I
do admire
your sporting achievements.

To have knee injuries from sport in my mind means you pushed yourself
pretty hard
and enjoyed the sports to the limit your body could go and had a great
time doing it.

Correct me if my assumptions are wrong because Muse Nordsrop is going
to ask me
for evidence to back my comment.

Glad to hear all is well

As I understand the procedure, analysis requires a trusting
~relationship~ and personal interaction. Self-analysis may provide
more flexibility and even immediacy...

I suggest you cease acting on the basis of undeclared and potentially
inaccurate assumptions. Just like any good and dutiful little
rosenbergist.
Please provide the full title and an ISBN for this mysterious
dictionary, Bruno.
... apart from the instructive action behind the scenes ...

Ben provided supporting information tending to support the proposed
assumption. Where, specifically, do you detect any lying?

You no longer ~stand~ by your ~word~ as written: "Anyone has the
choice to stop the conversation anytime they choose. It's democratic."

You withdraw this claim as a mere add-in designed to promote frothing?

You take ~responsibility~ for your claim that "no one gives a rats
arse about our conversation". Yet you provide no support for the
claim. Strange ~responsibility~...

Using the phrase "in my mind" indicates that you made this ~story~ up,

You made that up, Bruno.

Even if Ben confirms your assumptions (made-up ~stories~), you made up
the ~story~ first, published it, THEN asked for somebody else to ~take
responsibility~ for your ~story~ about a third party...

I just made it up for you Muse, to get you frothing again.

Why is it that whenever I mention Ben and his adventures you start
gnawing and gnashing your teeth.???????

I've been away for a few days in the forest pruning some trees.
Awfully quiet out there when its just you and your dog.

Missed your in depth questions????

For Pattie>

Pattie you will be pleased I was also reading a paperback titled
" How to hear the voice of God"

Interesting how Susan Shumsky DD. presents her case.

Would it pique your interest Ms NordstroP???????

Just wondering.

I learn so much about myself from your incisive and witty analyses,
Bruno. Too bad they have no relevance to the discussions about so-
called ~landmark~ so-called ~education~. And too bad that the lack of
evidence leaves your readers unconvinced.

You have evidence to support your claims of ~meaning~ enjoymeny and

The proportion of admitted fiction in your posts might give cause for
alarm. The proportion of person-oriented irrelevant material might
give cause for alarm as well.
