and Eldon is chasing x scientologists here
http://markrathbun.wordpress.com/
there's a discussion link on the side bar
my question is a little hard to phrase - so knowing you are used to
Bruno - I shall walk around it - knowing your insight will suffice
anyway
I have little interest in interacting with scientologists as Eldon
does - tho i can extrapolate from the glimpses I have seen
and you have little desire to meet Dave the "highly qualified
consciousness explorer guide" on ACA
who makes Tom look like the most logical guy on the planet
[sorry Tom - didn't mean to Embarrass you]
why the distinction in our diversity ?
for some reason pyramid worshipers vs non pyramid dwellers come to
mind as lateral tangent - in relaltion to the background setting
I don't see where ~choice~ comes into it - either I post or I don't.
No need for that rosenbergist ~choice~ nonsense.

I suppose that we can face the Other with varying degrees of
toleration. At a personal level, we could ask the equivalent of
"would I like my daughter to marry X?"...
would oxford be as patient?
or others?
I would guess this person: MICHAEL C. JENSEN
[Jesse Isidor Straus Professor of Business Administration Emeritus,
Harvard Business School
Senior Advisor, The Monitor Group]; thinks Havard is the place for
this type of material.
He is the Havard staff person who also co-authored post of the white
papers found at:

note the other Werner penned links to the right [People who downloaded

Maybe Micheal Jensen is ~~enrolled~~ in the ~~possibility~~ or his
ethics were bought with a pay-off.
Michael Jensen is a Senior Advisor at Monitor. He is Jesse Isidor
Professor of Business Administration Emeritus, Harvard Business
School. In 1990, he was named "Scholar of the Year" by the Eastern
Finance Association and one of the "Year's 25 Most Fascinating
Business People" by Fortune magazine. His numerous books and articles
can be found at Harvard Business Review and Amazon.

Thought Leaders
Ideas matter. Approaches matter. Methods matter. Because flawed ideas,
approaches, and methods yield bad answers, or "solutions" that don't
work, or they waste valuable time and energy in fruitless exercises
with no lasting impact.
One of the ways Monitor maintains the leading approaches in the world
on disciplines critical to growth is by having, within our firm, many
original thinkers and published authors. (We also draw on the
capabilities of many thought leaders outside the firm—see Talent
Network.)
Monitor thought leaders support core disciplines: Strategy, Marketing
and Pricing, Innovation and Product Development, Organization and
Leadership, Economic Development, and Security. Here is a sample of
our thought leaders:...
this "new" integrity idea raises so many questions
like
how smart are the guys at harvard that they didn't already have some
understanding of a link between "honoring your word" and
"integrity" [either definition]
what was the "previous" definition of integrity re business - in the
harvard collectives understanding?
did they previous version have anything to do with the recession?
perhaps a version that goes BEYOND simply honoring ones word - may
have prevented the need for a bailout?
who do the guys at the TOP give their word to?
its a great topic starter for an "exploration" / "conversation"

"like"
They're waaay smarter than you, Hap.
Smart enough to understand the subject matter.
What on earth are you searching for, Hap???
The serious quetion???
"why the distinction in our diversity ?"
Did you ever get an answer? ;-)

An observation: Harvard has a staff of thousands, and you can expect a
few of them to have "exotick" interests.

Dunno. I think of Oxford as more theoretical...
al la Schopenhauer versus Hegel ?
Ummm...
Which one might one associate with a "business school"? Which
environment nourished philosophical pragmatism?

I guess the one based on pragmatism would have already worked out the
pro and cons of keeping one's word - without the need for werner's
reminder....
ironic really
