I post as a FAN of Landmark at alt.FAN.landmark. This is not
alt.DEFEND.landmark.
Landmark can defend itself if it wants. It has lawyers and a marketing
team like every other business.
Cheers
hello hello, put on your thinking cap siam :)
--
Love is all u need. Even landmark grads can be loved.
Its not easy but it is a possibility.
Siam I feel the same way but somehow if I feel the Ranters are making up
stories I can't help getting sucked in and replying.
I enjoy it when I think I have them up against the ropes and often am
disapointed when what I have said seems meaningless to them.
I couldn't care less either but at the same time deep down I do.
Its the ideas and concepts I wish to defend rather than the organisation.
I have also met many fine people assisting, people that are prepared to give
their time for a cause without expecting any return.
I'm not like that I expect some return however even here I often live in the
parrodox.
I think the quality of people I have met while assiting is worth the time
one has given to the cause.
Not that I ever see them again, but when I do we recall the good times spent
toghether.
There is a form of group think in the organisation where people don't
question but just do things, and here I often struggle with this concept.
Again maybe its because I'm still thinking Me Me me me!!!!!
But again looking at the Ranters I do have some affinity for their passion.
Its a pity they don't show much feeling of who they are as people.
They seem to fear this for some reason??????

Yes I agree but when the Ranters start frothing at the mouth its
disappointing. They seem to bring back past events that may have some
kernels of truth but they spin it out for what its worth to get their mouths
frothing.
Then I react and think I need to get the Fire Extinguisher out to stop the
frothing and then most of the time it turns out into a fizzer and thats
that,
till the next Froth.

I agree.
Happy New year

Interesting take about defending the ideas vs. the organization. Why
do you feel though that you need to defend ideas?

I disagree Bruno! In fact, I have often heard that you must get more
out of assisting than you put in. That is the beauty of it. The few
times I have assisted, I have gotten plenty out of it.

Yes, I have met some cool people too.

I have no idea. But I don't waste too much time sweating people who

Let them froth. Encourage it even.

Happy New Year to you Bruno.
Cheers
Because I think they are powerful, useful and challenging.
One could use them to better peoples lives.
When Ranters don't dare to discuss these ideas but rather skim around the
peripheries of how these ideas
may have at some stage been misunderstood by people and hurt them in some
way.
They just stop there, and not look at the benefits, family reunions and love
that also has been caused.
I think Werner stumbled or discovered something very powerful that still
has not been fully understood.

Right they keep saying that however from my experience when you are asked
why you are there, most people say they are there for the cause, to give
something back. I allways answer I am there to have a good time, and to help
because I was asked and respected the person that asked me.
My byproduct for being there is that the participants may get out of the
course
what they paid for and to make it work for them.
I allways get strange looks and sometimes I am corected that my proirities
could be improved, to which I agree and then we move on.
Thats where I think the group thing swings into action but then maybe thats
my story.
I can't because I have my Fire extinguisher standing by loaded waiting to
spray them.
Must go its my wifes birthday today and I am still very much in love.
cheers Bruno
maybe u can explain your comment about Grace and what
it has to do with a landmark group.
are u saying the crtics should feel the
happy happy joy joy that the brainwashed ones feel ?

You don't appear to waste too much time sweating people (fellow graduates)
who can only conjecture how military drill instructors behave. Here is a
quote from Tex:
**
The trainers I observed did not behave anything like "military drill
instructors."
This included my own training and the ones I observed during my brief
stint with GSLP.
** end Tex quote.
Additionally, unless Rex was in bootcamp in order to experience 'military
drill instructor' behavior, his comment is also not worthy of your time
since it has the similar type of conjecture. Wouldn't ya think?? Rex
comment:
**
I never did EST. I have heard stories about it, that it was really great,
but there was a substantially different approach. Course leaders were more
like military drill instructors, trying to initiated[SIC] stress and bring
up the issues that tend to stop most people in their productivity.
** end Rex quote.
I appreciate that you think you don't waste your time by 'sweating' those
that can only 'conjecture' the nature of Landmark, but here is an example of
other graduates doing exactly that toward 'military drill instructor'
behavior without them or you 'sweating' it either.
Your requirement for ~experience~ as opposed to conjecture is common amongst
graduates, but it seems to be applied selectively.
Encourage away....

LOL
And the point is, iron-headed non-graduate?????/
