No Deaths From Vitamins or Minerals
Poison Control Statistics Prove Supplements' Safety
There was not even one death caused by a vitamin or dietary mineral in 2007,
according to the most recent statistics available from the U.S. National
Poison Data System. The 132-page annual report of the American Association
of Poison Control Centers published in the journal Clinical Toxicology shows
zero deaths from multiple vitamins; zero deaths from any of the B vitamins;
zero deaths from vitamins A, C, D, or E; and zero deaths from any other
vitamin. Furthermore, there were zero deaths in 2007 from any dietary
mineral supplement. This means there were no fatalities from calcium,
chromium, zinc, colloidal silver, selenium, iron, or multimineral
supplements. There was one death from chronic overdose of magnesium
hydroxide, commonly known as the laxative/antacid milk of magnesia, and it
was inappropriately listed in the "dietary supplement" reporting category.
Nutritional supplements do not contain magnesium hydroxide.

That one is pretty interesting, Bruno. In fact, I have just been
experimenting with a bunch of vitamins and amino acids to alleviate
the nasty effects of nicotine withdrawal.

Some people have one hell of a time quitting smoking, as you can see
here:

One interesting substance I have tried lately is Picamilon, a Russian-
developed molecular synthesis of GABA and niacin. I like it. Have you
ever tried it?

Hey Bruno - you forgot to answer the question! (!)

Did your post purport to offer negative proof of something? (?)

Personally, I regarded it as an article. It reminded me of the use of
arsenic as a "dietary mineral".

Perhaps my subconscious (if any) forms a part of me (if any...).

Perhaps I should ask one of my binary friends about this apparently
false dilemma...

Well, I'm surprised. It really messes some people up when the quit
(myself included).
