Thought this was a item of interest to pass along to your dedicated
followers. We're trying to help raise funds and build awareness
within the progressive and gay/lesbian community for Claudia Wright's
campaign in UT-02. (If you don't know, Claudia is Brigham Young'd
great-great granddaughter and... a LESBIAN! who successfully forced a
runoff with current Democrat Jim Matheson in UT-02.

I work with Howie Klein, President of the Blue America PAC, founder
of DownWithTyranny.com (and ex-president of Reprise Records).
At 2pm PDT today, he put up a post at DWT that will attempt to raise
funds for Claudia Wright's campaign in UT-02. He has placed Claudia
on Blue America's "Bad Dogs" page at ActBlue (http://www.actblue.com/
page/baddogs).
As soon as the funds top $2,000 he will take all the names of people
who have contributed, put them in a hat, and draw one lucky winner.
The prize? Howie's own personal copy of the RIAA Certified Platinum
Record awarded for k.d. lang's "Ingénue". Anyone who donates to
Claudia's campaign has a shot at winning this very valuable prize -
