I know Alex and Kathy Ford are living in Buffalo, but I'm sure their friendship
ended after they found out what Paul and Karla did. I believe Van collected
some reward money, and I don't believe they are friends either. To be honest, I
doubt if any of Pauls old friends have stuck with him. I do know that Pauls
family writyes him, and also vists him. Their crimes were unspeakable, and I
doubt if any of their old party buddies and stuck by him. I know if I had a
close friend that commited just crimes, I wouldn't have anything to do with him
or her.

Van was a backstabbing little weasel who tried turning him in from the
beginning when he saw the composite drawing of the Scarborough rapist.
Trying to screw his friend for a few dollars, the man isn't worth looking
into.

Van, knew Bernardo was into unusual sex for along time, and I myself believe
Van didn't turn him in before the reward was offer, was because Van like the
same kind of sexual behavior as Paul did, but not to the point of raping
anyone, or killing someone.
