Terry Taylor will no longer be working with the World Wrestling
Federation. He has accepted a position with WCW. Everyone here at the
WWF would like to wish Terry luck in all his future endeavors.

- The Cat is scheduled to return as a full time WCW wrestler after the
WCW Mayhem PPV later this month. The Cat will be escorted by The
Pussycats instead of his previous manager, Sonny Ono.
- C.G. Afi will be playing a booky with organized crime tie in's in
WCW. Afi was seen on Nitro last week during Disco Inferno's match. The
angle is expected to unfold more, next week.
-Member of the First Family, Brian Knobbs has auditioned for a role as
Curly Howard in a Three Stooges movie, currently in the process of
production. The movie will be directed by Mel Gibson, and according to
Chad Damiani, Knobbs is seriously being considered to play the role.
- Madusa is currently being trained by Pace Motorsports to drive one
of their monster trucks. Former WCW Executive and current Pace Vice
president, Mike Weber was the one in charge of the deal. Pace has been
impressed with Madusa's driving ability and may start her appearances
in the upcoming months.
- Chad Damiani says that he expects for Lenny and Lodi to take legal
actions against Turner broadcasting if they don't get releasal's from
their WCW contracts.
-The WCW creative team of Vince Russo, Ed Ferrara, and Bill Banks are
apparently very concerned about WCW's production problems. Meetings
will take place later this in hopes of gaining solutions to these
problems. These problems arised when WCW went from doing little to no
vignettes, to relying much of their show on them.

WCW. Not quite sure yet what his role in WCW will be. Terry Taylor
seemed to be one of the top candidates for the top TV writer but
apparently he won't be. Taylor returned from his two week hiatus
yesterday at which point a meeting was expected to take place between
him and McMahon and as opposed to negotiating with McMahon over money,
power, oppurtunity, and security, Taylor just gave his notice.
Apparently he got a late offer at the last second from WCW to come
aboard. Taylor was the top writer at WCW during Nitro's winning
streak. So his return to WCW could be very important. Taylor has told
people recently that he had not negotiated with WCW during his two
weeks off and would have preferred to work things out and stay in the
WWF but from what we understand, apparently in the last couple of days
WCW did open the doors to communication and did ask for him to come
in. As far as the no compete clause goes, apparently he never signed
it.
• Yesterday I talked about Brian Clark getting his release from WCW.
There is some word that ECW has some interest in him. Not sure if ECW
has talked to him but when word got around to ECW that he had been
released there was some interest in bringing him in with perhaps James
Vendenberg, his old manager in WCW, manage him and feud with Mike
Awesome and Judge Jeff Jones. Take this as only a rumor right now as
there is no confirmation yet if ECW will sign him. Plus you never
know, WCW may offer him a re-worked deal.
• Shane McMahon got knocked silly twice in his main event match on Raw
Monday night. After Triple H gave Shane a flying knee as Shane
rebounded off the ropes, Triple H covered Shane. The knee knocked
Shane out so much that he failed to kick out of the pin attempt.
Referee Earl Hebner was expecting a kickout and when he didn't get one
he had to stop just before hitting the mat a third time despite the
fact that Shane didn't lift his shoulder. The announcers saw that it
looked bad and prompted Ross to say "Maybe Earl Hebner is in Vince's
back pocket." A minute later X-Pac yanked Shane out of the ring and
gave him a jump reverse side kick. The kick caught Shane full force in
the face and he was very slow in getting up but he was ok enough to
finish the match.
• In the Curt Hennig/Disco Inferno match on Nitro Monday, there was
some improvising that may have upset Vince Russo. The spots in the
match that involved Larry Hennig were not planned ahead of time. The
actual plan was to show Larry on camera and acknowledge him but not to
have him get involved in the actual match. Those who know say Hennig
was worried about catching heat from Russo and Ferrara who have built
a quick reputation for disliking wrestlers breaking from the script.
BTW, on a side note to the Disco/Hennig match, Disco is going to have
a new direction to his character where he will be involved in a mob
type gimmick. Don't know anymore about it than that so it should be
fun to watch and see how it plays out.
• The WWF bar room brawl involving the Acolytes on Raw a week and a
half ago cost the WWF $6,000 because they did that much damage to the
bar. The bar was in Cumberlund, Rhode Island. Local indy wrestlers
were used in the skit. About $6,000 in damage was done including
serious damage to an expensive jukebox.
• Sid and Goldberg have been hanging out a lot lately and that isn't
helping Goldberg gain any fans in the locker room. Infact, one thing
that really did some damage to Goldberg's reputation among the other
wrestlers is from a week and a half ago on Nitro when he got pinned by
Bret Hart, he kicked out right after the three count. He couldn't even
lay on the mat for five seconds. Remember, before he got pinned he got
attacked by Sid, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall. A 3 on 1 attack with
those three names and Goldberg had to kick out right after three.
People who even like Goldberg say he is buying into his gimmick too
much.

Russo was interested in getting Lenny and Lodi back on television. In
fact, several well known reporters even said that Lenny and Lodi would
be appearing on Nitro last night or next week's Nitro. Well, the deal
now is that they will NOT be returning to WCW storylines...and that's
from WCW.com.
Also, Lucas from WWF.com says that Jim the Anvil Neidhart did indeed
sign a contract with the WWF but he will not be wrestling. He will be
training wrestlers in Memphis. WWF.com also has some new interviews
from Chyan and Buh Buh Ray Dudley. Check it out. One last
thing...Austin will be the guest on Byte This! Thursday night from 6-7
pm ET.

• Bryan Adams was on Bubba The Love Sponge's radio show here in Tampa
this morning. He said some things that were interesting to say the
least.
He said that the Kiss contract was one of the final nails in the
coffin for Bischoff in WCW. He said that Kiss would've received 100%
of the merchandise sales from the Demon gimmick. He put it so that it
was a very bad situation for the company to be in and they tried to
renegotiate but Kiss won't budge from the stipulation. Almost seems
like Demon may not be dead after all.
He also talked about the Undertaker. Adams was a little hesitant in
saying this but he said that the Undertaker is 50/50 on retiring right
now. He basically said UT is really banged up, as has been reported,
and that it's starting to take its toll on him.
He also talked about not being used by WCW and being paid for it. The
more things change the more they stay the same I guess.

The so-called controversy regarding the action figure of Al Snow and
the head of a mannequin, affectionately referred to, in shorthand, as
"head" is about as "lame-headed" as the media gets.
The wonderful character that Al Snow plays on RAW (Mondays at 9:00
p.m. on USA Network, rated TV-14) and SmackDown! (Thursdays at 8:00
p.m. on UPN) is a psychologically challenged man in need of a friend
who finds that kinship in an inanimate object. To further attempt to
show just how "out there" his character is, he has "Help Me" scrawled
backward on his forehead and on the mannequin head as well. This
hopelessly confused character who drifts in and out of reality is
undoubtedly a fan favorite… and one of the many zany characters
appearing weekly on our highly successful and light-hearted
entertainment programming.
The original misunderstanding, from two guest columnists at The
Atlanta Journal and Constitution is a right wing reaction when they
called Al Snow's character a "celebration of dismemberment". To show
you how "out there" these two writers are, they conclude the Al Snow
action figure package contains a "female victim who did not survive
her encounter with the muscled figures who surround her". They then
jump onto "sadism", "domestic violence", "male aggression", and
"spousal abuse". We think these writers read a lot into a mannequin
head.
If these two had watched the show, they would have found that the Al
Snow character holds his "mannequin head friend" in "high esteem" and
even loves her. This misunderstanding is the result of jumping to
conclusions inaccurately, and is easily remedied by tuning in.
However, the guest columnists then took their misinformed case to
Wal-Mart which has decided to remove the action figure from shelves.
(This happened to coincide with a new look for Al's character anyway.
New product is shipping right now.)
What is discouraging about the article, but typical of some in the
media, is that the full character of Al Snow was relayed by Jim Byrne,
the WWF's Senior Vice President of Marketing, to a laughing Dan
Hulbert who wrote the article in the Atlanta Constitution. Hulbert
understood the humor and lunacy of the character (even apologized for
laughing because he said he found it humorous… Duh!) but chose not to
include that explanation as part of his article.
P.S. Effects on Sales: Local retailers have reported brisk sales and
sell outs for this now "collector's item".

One of the strangest things ever seen in wrestling ever happened at
the World Class Wrestling card in Kinston, NC on Oct. 30th. Three fans
got in a battle of words with wrestlers, which is nothing unusual. The
whole thing had been broken up and the three young men left. This was
a street show so, fans could come and go as they felt.
The first argument happened after the show was over. As the wrestlers
and the rest of the fans were trying to leave, two of these young men
returned, trying to coax the wrestlers out into the street. Wrestlers
and other fans ventured to the street. As that situation seemed to be
settled the third young man started screaming and cussing at the crowd
from behind a bush, next to a house on the side of the street. As the
crowd once again started to disperse after words were exchanged, the
man in the bushes started firing gun shots into the crowd. As the
crowd ran, many shots rang out. Everyone looked back and there was one
man lying on the dirt face down. The young man lifted his head and
asked for help. No wrestlers were hurt but several were in the line of
fire, including Mean Marc Ash, Sexton Tyler, Paco, & (ironically
named) The Bullet.
As the investigation went on it came out that there had been TWO
shooters. Someone in the crowd returned fire. Neither shooter was
apprehended. As of Sunday morning, Oct. 31st, the young man who we
believe to be 15 or 16 years of age, who was shot, was one of the
young men trying to coax the wrestlers into the street. He was shot in
the back. The bullet entered his back, hit his spine, and came out of
his chest. At the time of this writing, he was paralyzed from the
shoulders down and in critical condition.

these days, complained about having to do a job to Buff Bagwell. WCW
has approached Stevie Ray about re-working his contract which pays him
$750,000 per year. The deal is considered one of Bischoff's least
justifiable expenses. Stevie Ray, as reported on Sunday night, is
taking heat for his sloppy work on Nitro from the week before. You can
read more about that right here. So the deal is that people aren't
being patient with Stevie as he is complains about having to do jobs.
Brian Clark (Wrath) has been released from WCW. Clark signed a 3 year
contract with WCW last year for $325,000 but WCW had the option to
terminate the contract after the first year. They exercised that
option. Vince Russo had talked to Clark about Brian Adams and
apparently they were going to form a Road Warrior type tag team but
then the front office decided to cut Clark from the roster. Clark was
out of action for the past 5 1/2 months after suffering an ACL tear
during a WCW match. Clark was one week away from medical clearance
before he could return to action and he's telling friends that he is
in great shape but would need some ring time to shed his ring rust and
get his timing back. Clark may be offered a re-worked contract like
Vamiro and Scott Norton were. Vampiro accepted and Norton didn't.
There is no word if Clark will be heading to WWF, ECW, or back to WCW
with a re-worked contract.

I heard that Owen Hart died because they used rigging gear off of a
sailboat and held the clasp shut with duct tape. That and two pimply
faced teenagers probabably making minimum wage were in charge of the
whole lowering operation.

columns were written this week expressing how WWF fans stay true, and

injury, but during Smackdown tapings the script was re-written a
little so he did not have to fight as long. The WWF did this so he
would not further injure himself, and he may be able to play a bigger
role at the PPV.

Vince McMahon said a remark about World Championship Wrestling. It is
said that Russo and Ferrara will contribute to the Nitro booking to
add a part where it remarks of the World Wrestling Federation. Bill
Busch will then give the final answer once the script is ready for
Monday Night Nitro.

Vince Russo has already gained much repect from the wrestlers
backstage by putting Annette Yothers and Craig Leathers in their place
in front of many wreslters and other WCW workers. Russo told them to
get to doing their jobs in the production part of WCW and to stop
acting like they have a lot of power in WCW. There has been a lot of
heat of Leathers and Yothers lately because of all the recent
production errors.

large ego over the past few weeks and many WCW workers are
disappointed with his behavior as he is constantly threatening to walk
out of WCW if things don't go in his favor.
The WCW movie that is being made contains a match where DDP(The Heel)
is fighting in a triple decker cage match(3 cages-one on top of
another). DDP eventually gets choke-slammed through the cages. Last
night Dave Meltzer reported on his radio show that WCW may try to
promote this movie with the triple-decker cage match by having a
triple-decker cage match at an upcoming ppv. Should be interesting to
see how this plays out.

Federation, were apparently still under WWF contract when they agreed
to join World Championship Wrestling. They were receiving their
downside guaranteed pay even though the World Wrestling Federation

them to terminate their WWF contracts if they were to sign a new
contract with a different wrestling organization. The WWF agreed and
sent them the letter weeks ago. Negotiations with WCW didn't start
until mid-week of last week and were finalized last Friday.
Ironically, Prichard called them on Friday saying that they were
looking to book them for some upcoming shows. Shortly thereafter the
Harris Twins sent a contract termination notice to the WWF.
