Do you not realize that the jumbling of their triple stage names
causes a rift in the space time continuum and confuses Americans and
foreigners alike?
How many times in the 1980's did you overhear a conversation like this
at a cocktail party:
"I like that one guy who played the Indian (not pc in current time) in
Young Guns. What was his name?"
"Oh, you mean Philip Diamond something?"
"No That's not it. It's Anthony Michael Thomas."
"No That's the kid from Vacation. He's the skinny white kid"
"Philip Michael Thomas is the guy from Miami Vice."
"So Who's the guy from Young guns?"
"That's Lou Diamond Thomas."
"Not Lou. It's Philip...Philip Diamond Philips."
"Yer so stupid."
"No, You're stupid."
See what I mean???

I remember having a similar conversation about an '80s band whose name
rhymed. It was a simple enough question, but there was no resolution.
However, the exchange was rather humourous. It started out simple
enough:
"What was that '80s band that was basically two words that rhymed?"
"You mean 'Oingo Boingo'?"
"No, it was like two *real* words."
"Scritti Politti?"
"NO, I said REAL words."
"Those *are* real words. It's Latin!"
"Whatever. That's not it."
"Okay, Bananarama?"
"No, that's just one word that rhymes."
"How can one word rhyme?"
"It doesn't matter. That's not the one I'm talking about!"
"Duran Duran?"
"No, that's just the same word repeated."
"But it rhymes."
"A word can't rhyme with itself."
"Yes it can. 'DURAN' 'DURAN.' See, it rhymes."
"It doesn't matter. That's not it."
"Do you mean 'Tutti Frutti'?"
*Sigh* "That's not a band name, it's a song. And it's not even from the
'80s."
"It might have been covered in the '80s."
"I'M. TALKING. ABOUT. A. BAND. NAME."
"Okay, do you mean Mister Mister?"
"WHAT? NO!!! That's the same problem as Duran Duran."
"But it still rhymes."
"God, you're an idiot!"
"*I'M* the idiot? You're the one who didn't even know 'Scritti Politti'
was Latin."
"THAT'S NOT LATIN!"
"Bow Wow Wow?"
"No, that's three words, you moron."
"You're the moron!"
"Oh yeah? I'm the moron?" 'Cause I'm pretty sure you're the one who
keeps naming bands who clearly don't fit the bill."
"Yeah, well at least I'm playing your stupid game!"
"IT'S NOT A GAME! IT'S A SERIOUS QUESTION!!!"
"Yeah, well take your stupid question and stick it up your ass, you
fuckin' idiot."
"You're the fuckin' idiot!"
"Fuck you!"
"FUCK *YOU*!!!"
(...)
"Wang Chung?"
"That doesn't even rhyme!"
