This FAQ is assembled in part from many of the Bios posted to various

creation for both herself and her viewers. Yes, Julia is into men.
(17) What about in her personal life?
It's personal. -That's why they call it that.
(18) I want to browse the usenet newsgroup
alt.binaries.nospam.julia-hayes, but my ISP sensors it/doesn't carry
it/etc. What do I do?
If you feel the need to complain, please do it to your ISP. After all,
you chose to buy your internet services from them. Otherwise, choose an
ISP that provides the services you want. You can also browse the
newsgroup via a web browser at:
http://www.remarq.com
(19) I want to post my collection of Julia pics to the newsgroup. Is
there anything I should know?
Yes. Please don't post anything that Julia sells, such as "member's only"
pictures from Julia's web site. The newsgroup exists for Julia's fans,
and we are very protective of Julia's best interests.
Also, if you post unaltered pictures from well known "sets" that have been
around a while, please DON'T rename them. If, however, you edit a picture
to change or perhaps enhance it, then please DO rename it so as not to
cause confusion with the unaltered picture. Some of the fan websites have
extensive indexes and cross-indexes for most of these "sets."
If you have something NEW to post, you are graced with the task of naming
the pictures in the set. General procedure is to select an
"eight-dot-three" filename that somehow identifies your set. Presuming
you use two digits to number the pictures in your set, use a descriptive
set name with up to six letters, and tack on a three letter filetype
extension. Some good examples include "surf##.jpg", "bride##.jpg",
"ballet##.jpg", and "sailor##.jpg". If a set comes from a particular
magazine, you might choose an abbreviated set name that indicates the
source of the set. Examples include: "hhtg##.jpg" (for Hustler's Hometown
Girls), "sw399-##.jpg" (for March 1999 Swank), etc. Just be intelligent.
Post individual pictures with UU or Base64 encoding. Whenever possible,
create an index file for your set. There are some excellent utilities for
creating quick thumbnail indexes available. Many are available as
shareware.
(20) Ohmigod, someone said something mean/bad/nasty about Julia on the
newsgroup! I must DESTROY them!
Look, we're all Julia worshippers. Julia's fans do NOT say mean/bad/nasty
things about Julia. So if someone *does*, then consider it to be a big
billboard that should be screaming "TROLL!" at you. As much as it will
make you feel better to flame a troll, please, above all, DON'T. None of
the Julia worshippers want to read long threads of flames and
counterflames on the Julia newsgroups. For more information on Usenet
trolls, visit:
http://dir.yahoo.com/Computers_and_Internet/Internet/Usenet/Humor/Trolling/
If you absolutely can't stand it an feel that you MUST respond to a troll,
please do it only by email between YOU and the TROLL. The rest of us
learned to use killfiles a long time ago. For more information on
killfiles, visit:
http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/hypertext/faq/usenet/killfile-faq/faq.html
(21) Ohmigod, someone is trying to SELL something on the newsgroup! Is it SPAM?
On the Julia Hayes newsgroup, SPAM is anything that is completely
non-goddess related. If the alt.fan.julia-hayes newsgroup were moderated,
anything non-goddess related wouldn't be allowed through. Use that as
your rule of thumb for defining SPAM on the a.f.j-h newsgroup. Someone
offering to sell a complete 3-year set of Club-International magazines
featuring Julia as "Nancy" would NOT be SPAM, for example. Donna Daye
announcing a new set posted to Julia's web site would similarly NOT be
considered SPAM.
More loosely defined, SPAM is something that you do not want. Please
understand that not everyone wants exactly what you want and someone else
might want something that you don't want. If you still can't stand it,
please see killfiles above, don't flame.
