Excluded from Chamber of Commerce debate?
I read in the Expositor about a Mayoral candidates meeting at
the Best Western on Thursday Oct 7 held by the Brantford
Chamber of Commerce. I didn't get an invitation.
The Brantford Chamber of Commerce has tried to exclude me
before and backed down and now it looks like they're going to
trying to exclude me again.
If the Chamber is going to give you a chance to score the
votes in the room and not me, I call that cheating. Please
don't let them cheat me. If you won't play, they'll back down.
If the candidates speak up, they'll let me participate. They
always have when even one candidate spoke up!
So I'll be there to participate if they made a mistake in not
inviting me again, or if you get me on.
But any of the time to pitch the voters I don't get that you
end up with won't be an advantage you will find of benefit in
the long run. But standing up for democracy will.
A Chamber of Commerce has got to stop playing favorites.
What is this? Amerika where only 2 candidates ever get heard?
