Le militant pro-marijuana Raymond Turmel ne fera finalement
pas l'objet de poursuites en lien avec son arrestation, en
fevrier dernier, devant le Palais de justice de Quebec.
Pro-marijuana militant Raymond Turmel won't finally be the
object of pursuit connected to his arrest last February in
front of the Quebec City courthouse.

TVA Gatineau-Ottawa a appris que le Directeur des poursuites
criminelles et penales a abandonne les accusations en matiere
de stupefiants intentees contre le resident de l'Outaouais,
bien connu dans la region pour ses nombreux coups d'eclat.
TVA Gatineau learned that the Director of Criminal and Penal
Prosecutions has abandoned the drug charges against Outtaouais
resident, well-known in the region for his numerous thunder
claps.

Raymond Turmel detient un permis de Sante Canada qui
l'autorise a etre en possession d'un maximum de 150 grammes de
marijuana. Or, il avait, sur lui, au moment de son
interpellation, 152 grammes de cannabis.

Raymond Turmel holds a Health Canada permit that authorizes
him to possess a maximum 150 grams. He had at the time of
arrest 152 grams of cannabis.

Monsieur Turmel pourra recuperer la marijuana saisie en
fevrier des lundi prochain.
Mr. Turmel may reclaim the seized marijuana last February this
Monday.

I wonder how they can give a Controlled Substance back with a
Section 25 Order for its return.
