Does anyone know what happened to John's lear jet?
Wyatt
Wyatt,
John's Lear is still owned by Windstar Aviation Corp. The company used
to be based in CT, but the jet was re-registered on Nov. 5, 1998 and
now shows a Denver address. Perhaps John's brother Ron has some
interest in it, but that is only a guess on my part. The Gates Lear
Jet Model 35 is a 10-seater 2-engine turbo that was built in 1975.

I believe that it was sold.

When I took my flying lesson at Aspen Aviation last August, my instructor knew
John's pilots. He said the entire business (the Lear Jet was set up as a
charter business) was sold and John's pilots all got to keep their jobs.

When you get there, just click on the photo of the Lear. There are many photos
of the Lear in both the old & new paint scheme.
I hope you like it.
Wyatt,
I'm very certain that it became a part of the estate and was sold.
