does anyone remember the music video for the song "don't close your eyes

any idea of how one might go about finding it?
it was a great b&w video as i recall.....very classy. i'd love to see it

The only video I remember with Don't close your eyes tonight on it was
the.....
"John Denver...A Portrait" and part of the song was in B & W and part
of it was in color.........I ordered mine thru a video sales and rental
store.....most any of them can order one for you.......there are some
posts today re: where to order any thing of Johns and Portrait was
listed..........the price was good too........Portrait was a very good
video and well worth the price..... LuLu

just might start another one of those threads....I was just saying to someone
last night.....John should have done more like Don"t Close Your Eyes..It is
still a fabulous video....I have worn the tape thread bare I have watched it so
much......He looked so incredible in it....and when he is running thru the
field with his shirt half off and his hair all messy!!!!!!!......yeooooow!!!!
will make you want to rewind and rewind.....and yell "Let it be me!".....After
you see this, you will wonder how he could have thought he wasn't sexy!
Oh ....this video is on the "Portrait" tape and can still be had....Well,
talking about this video is giving me an adrenaline rush....think I will go and
put that tape in right now!!

Gee Cam, that is an interesting way of putting it, I have never heard it
called an adrenaline rush before. But boy it sure does make your heart

Lou....I just mean that with most of John's videos you can sit, sip on
tea, and be pensive. You can think about the deeper meanings of things
in life, and what you can do to help the environment. On that "Don't
Close Your Eyes" video, I feel like I have no control over what I am
thinking. That worries me. (I also enjoy it just a tad.)

Well said, George. I wanted the E! program, but the E! channel screwed us
again. So one lady offered it to me for $6. Not at all a ripoff. Yet another
said she'd send it to me, as you said, out of the goodness of her heart.
Of course, too much "goodness," and she'd go broke! But bless her! I cannot
even remember her name right now - and I should. THAT makes me feel so
ungrateful.... but I am so blessed!

I just want people to know that when I was trying to get my friend to
tape E! off of her cable tv thing-a-ma-bob, and she couldn't find it at
the last minute (she only has E! in the day time hours), 16 people wrote
me personal emails and without my even asking, offered to tape it for
me. My friend doesn't particularly like JD and when I posted that she
was having trouble getting this taped for me, I had two people write to
me and say they would be willing to make a copy for my friend too. I
told my friend about it, and she could not believe the way we do things
with our cyber family! I can't tell you what this does for someone's
day. I could not believe the thoughtfulness....I didn't even ask,
because I dislike asking people to do things for me....but I have
lightened up quite a bit, and now I let people do stuff for me from this
ng all the time. I have always loved doing stuff for others here, but to
be on the receiving end was difficult for me. I am over that
now.....and it feels so good...Lorraine
