Anybody ever listen to Whalebones and Crosses off the Autograph album at
night with the lights off and headphones on?. You can almost feel you are
there. Thats one of his most underated songs. Never heard it in concert.

? Has John ever recorded Bells of Rimney? Not sure If Im spelling it
right. Me and my brother saw him play it once in concert and his guitar
playing was incredible on that song. It really did ring like bells and it
was just him and his guitar.

Hi Matt!

I have loved "Whalebones And Crosses" since the first time I heard it.
That sound of the wind, not to mention the words, evoke such a feeling
of barren wilderness and a way of life that may be different than ours,
but wonderful, nonetheless.

I'm not sure that "Bells of Rhymney" (not sure of the spelling, either)
was ever recorded, but "At The London Palladium" might be the best place
to check. Does anyone know?

John did record "Bells of Rhymney" it is on a Mitchell Trio album. I do
not recall the name of the album.
