Does anyone know what type of suit John was wearing in Grosse Pont Blank?
It was probably made for the film but maybe there is some similar suit
available? (I don't really have a clue about suits, so I don't know where
to start looking.)

I don't know about suits either but have you checked through the credits of
the movie. If it was donated by a big designer like Armani or Gucci or
someone there might be a thank you credit.
