Interesting interview. Especially the two following comments:
"These instruments, the way I approached them after having been
trained in the classical way and playing in rock bands, I had such a
special relationship to them that suddenly, with this experience of
the tour, I said, 'This is who I am'."
"What I'm doing on stage is actually my most authentic way of
approaching instruments. This is what I want to do, even for the
future."

That's music to my ears, Jarre! He is truly at his best when playing
these vintage instruments, especially when playing them live. I look
forward to new music in this original Jarre tradition: A symphonic
aproach using electronic instruments with a soul.

I saw the concert on the 2 April in Copenhagen. It was every bit as
good as I expected it to be. And then some. It's interesting how Jarre
can make a concert with and audience of 2000 people seem intimate.
I've seen opinions that claimes Jarre isn't good live - without
playback - but after seeing the show I disagree completele. There is
something very special about his complete concentration while beaming
back and forth between his "old ladies".

Same experience here, in Dublin, in March. Fantastic performance, it was the
first time I saw Jarre live, although Oxygene was the very first record I
bought back in 1976 when I was 10 :-)
