Well, Jimmy has a dog named 'Cheeseburger.' In fact, in Jimmy's book
"Where is Joe Merchant?", Frank Bama's dog is named 'cheeseburger.'
Personally, I like the dog's name from the song 'Death of an Unpopular
Poet.' "Spooner" Just a thought.. Let me know what you decide!

Actually the dog in Where is Joe Merchant was named Hoagy. That's what I
named my lab.

I've gotta ditto the others who suggested Spooner. My two Ridgebacks are
named "Spooner" and "Billy Clyde". Other names I've heard people use
include "Manana" and "Calypso."

Let everyone know what you decide on.

John

Ditto on Spooner. Almost named my Golden Retriever (Nugget) that, just
didn't fit her personality.

But then again "Magnus" would be nice. I believe that was the name of Young
Mr. Moon's dog!

We named our Pembrooke Welsh Corgi, AKC name is "Captain Tony's
Last Mango". Her "normal" name is simply "Mango".

Good Luck,

Well, my roommate named her dogs "Coral" and "Reefer" but to use that you
would need to get a second pooch! Just a thought! Good luck

How about "Spooner", the dog mentioned in "Death of an Unpopular Poet"

We came close to Spooner, but it didn't quite fit, so we wound up with

Scooter Blue Eye (only his right eye is blue)

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how humanely you look at it)
Scooter is headed for a big ranch for him to live on with no fences to
jump and no cars to chase. He's a bit hyper, read, insanely hyperactive,
and has outgrown our yard, house and sanity. Plus, it's no life for a dog
to be restricted to a lead, even if it is bigger than my first several
apartments.

Scooter is good, but so is Salome, but rather fits a cat, I think.
