Jewel's comments were far from that. She was the nicest American Idol
judge ever. All she said to the girl that sang her song was it was
going to take a lot of work. And what are psychologically scarred,
physically and mentally challenged people doing on American Idol?
Everybody knows that even people with a medium amount of talent are
going to be ripped to shreds by Simon. If you can't take criticism
then what the h*ll are you doing on American Idol? Thousands enter and
a handful become finalists. You should expect to be rejected. No one
should be crushed at being axed.

I thought she was great on idol :) Honest and tactful, apart from the
odd stifled laugh, but seriously even that was well done considering how
funny they were!

What I loved the most though was when Simon Cowell got up and said he
had to leave, kissed Paula Abdul on the lips, tried to do the same to
Jewel who quickly turned her head to the side, then Simon obviously felt
that the hadn't fulfilled his kiss quota so kissed Randy! Priceless!
