Austin in the last decade or so has finally gotten it's head out of it's ass
and is building some much needed freeways, but for a VERY long time, it was
just Mopac and I-35 and a LOT of congestion.
Even now, wih a nice network FINALLY being made, downtown Austin is still a
mess, without any East-West freeways trhough downtown. Just surface roads.
