Here's somethingI've been wondering about for some time now. I've always
heard that the original hartnell Console was scrapped in Inferno.
However, the later Pertwee console seems to be the Hartnell console with a
new time rotor.
The console seems to get cheaper and "flatter" looking, but seems to be
the same console right up the Leela's time at least, and the "seams"
between the panels seem consistent with the Hartnell console.
So when was the Hartnell Console junked? Inferno or beyond? I know it
was redesigned over the years but seems to have the same basic panelling
with different instruments each time up until at least the late 70s....
