How about Sony make two Bond films back to back and delay the release
until 2007? So Bond 21 comes out in summer 2007 and Bond 22 out in
summer 2008. That way we can have a two part storyline. Story begins
with Bond 21 and an element of it continues in Bond 22. It should also
be cheaper to make two films back to back because you don't need to
hire new studio space, go to new locations etc. With a new actor as
Bond it would be the ideal time to make two films back to back.

I think this could work because a 2007 release date would give the
screenwriters more time to write two screenplays. Just think - Bond 21
and Bond 22 could be a real epic, perhaps the return of SPECTRE. I
think this has tremendous potential.

Any thoughts?

My only thought right now is that they're not going to hire an ugly,
big-nosed guy with a receding hairline and dandruff, so I guess that
takes you out of the running entirely.

--- Doubling up on Bond for 2006 and 2007 was an idea put forth by
Phil7101 at the beginning of the month in this group. Now, if more
people get to think about it over the next year, then the collective
conscious of that might find its way into the very minds of Babs
Broccoli and Mike Wilson to actually do it. So, everybody, think hard
and spread the thought.
