Hey, is that Tim Dalton in The Patriot?

I went to see THE PATRIOT last night and, boy-o-boy, Timothy Dalton looked
great as the wicked Col. William Tavington. Except, of course, it was actually
Dalton look-alike Jason Isaacs.

If you see the film, and it's pretty good, don't be surprised to hear "Hey, is
that Tim Dalton?"

English actor who is, I think on a Bond contenders list. I haven't seen much
of him, but I remember him being on BBC TV in a series written by Lynda La
Plante (wrote Prime Suspect) about Royal Marine commandos trying to adjust
to life on Civvy Street. I think the series was called Civvies. Quite a hard
actor in the Dalton mould.

Bond contender? Really? Hmmm...anyway for those non-BBC people among us, Isaacs
was in Event Horizon and was the villain in Soldier, and had a small role in
Armageddon
