I wonder how long they will continue making Endeavour and whether they will
stop when they reach the 1970s. Morse has to change quite dramatically to go
from how he is in Endeavour to how he is in the earliest Inspector Morse
episodes, and that's a gap of less than 20 years (1968 in the Endeavour
episode being filmed - someone spotted that the cars had 1968 tax discs -
and 1987 for the first Inspector Morse episode).
