Randolph Hotel is on fire :-(

Just happened about an hour ago - one of my wife's friends still lives near
Oxford and saw this on the local news site.

Let's hope no-one's trapped and the building isn't too badly damaged.

Looks as if the fire brigade did a fantastic job in containing the fire and
also in retrieving belongings for urgent cases like a wedding party who had
the wedding dress, rings and floor plans in one of the rooms (presumably for
a wedding being held somewhere else) and in retrieving luggage (especially
passports) for visitors who were flying back to the USA on Sunday.

Let's hope the Morse Bar has survived unscathed.
