In protest to Howard wanting HS Web Sites removed from the Internet, and
as suggested by Matthew Simpson in another post, I created a newsgroup
called "alt.binaries.howard-stern". The following is the Charter for the
group:

[Begin Charter]

"alt.binaries.howard-stern" is an unmoderated newsgroup created for his
fans to exchange images and sounds. There is already a newsgroup named
"alt.fan.howard-stern". However, it is recommended in the creating
newsgroup guidelines to make seperate groups for discussions and binaries
so that News Administrators have less manageability problems.

Currently, "The HOWARD STERN Home Page" sponsored by SYDNEY URSHAN FILMS
located at: "http://www.urshan.com/stern", caries over 200 megs of Howard
Stern images and sounds. For obvious reasons, manageability of these
files would ease up greatly with a newsgroup as
"alt.binaries.howard-stern".

This newsgroup submission follows all mandatory posting and creation guidelines.

[End Charter]

It will take anywhere from 1 day to several weeks for it to show up on
your server. It may not show up at all. To make this group successful,
request your News Administrator to carry the group. As soon as it shows
up, start uploading! Recently, I created 2 other newsgroups:
"alt.music.midi.keydisk-terminator", and
"alt.mac.copy-protect.kdt-terminator". At the time you request
"alt.binaries.howard-stern", it would be greatly appreciated if you
request these other 2 newsgroups from your News Administrator also.
Thanks!

Sounds great! But let me be the first of many ignorant Howard fans to
ask...How do you view these things?

Thanks in advance for keeping the flames to a minimum!

Does anyone get this group yet? I asked my server and was told that if
they didn't have it,it didn't exist.Bullshit
I've wrote a program that I'd like to send up.It's a total hack but
some fans may enjoy it.
Thanks
