It's a running joke that Howard has been doing for years.

No! The bits - which he used to do more frequently - are so over the top
that it is hard to believe how anyone could take it seriously. No offense to
you, of course.

IIRC Howard starting doing this ridiculous(but funny) vet stuff after
ranting about the Greaseman's Rambo takeoffs.

While spending time in the Philippines, Howard and a couple of his
buddies took a taxi into Manila and stopped at a local brothel. Howard
wanted to try the basket trick, and so he ponied up the 3 dollah for the
experience. Unfortunately, the basket broke at the wrong time and tore
Howard's penis. Howard was then sent back to the states where he was
given the purple penis medal at a ceremony attended by his proud
parents.

Born in 1954.

Volunteered at 17 in 1971.

Mathematically possile.

Howard went straight to college. He also claims he did 3 tours of
duty..........by that time, all the soldiers would have been home........

Not only was he in 'Nam, but he took out a whole village with his chopper.

He could have volunteered at 17 in 1971. Out of boot camp he could have
volunteered for Nam, arriving in country in the spring of 1971. He could
have served two tours of duty up to the time that US combat troops were
withdrawn in March 1973. To serve his third tour of duty he could have
then volunteered to serve as an advisor to the ARVN.

To say that Howard is too young to have served in Viet Nam is incorrect.

Volunteers for duty in Nam were willingly accomadated. I did not say that
Howard served. However, it is mathematically possible for Howard to have
served in Nam.

Yes he was. He was given the Communist Royal Seal of Honor
for the successful first operation of the Tet Offensive. He also led
the VC into the final raid into South Veitnam which booted the US
right out of there. Praised by all Communists around the globe, Stern
has used his power to conquer US radiowaves. He has on many
occassions recalled on air his raping and killing of serveral thousand
Vietmnamese women, children..... and men.
FYI, Stern's father, who used to go by the name Rubenwald
Sternreicht, was the major contributor to the Jewish "Final Solution"
in WW2. He escaped to the US under his assumed name Ben Stern, and
even went so far as to assume the religion of the people he once
attempted to erase.

For the record, there have been examples of kids aged 15-17 signing up
for the army in a fit of patriotism, then serving for however many
years they wanted.

But Howard was never there.

Would've been some great footage for Private Parts if he was, though!
