The 1916 silent film with William Gillette gets orchestral score, premieres in Ukraine July 16

William Gillette was the first Holmes, and really marvelous. The 1916 film is a must for Holmes fans, and will have its first ever orchestral score, thanks to the Odessa (Ukraine) International Film Festival, which has commissioned American composer Donald Sosin to score if for a premiere on the Odessa Steps on July 16, 2016.
