Youtube has like 115 hits on "Hofstadter", so, tube away!
Like those tubers (well, canoers) that did the Texas Water Safari that
you could have tracked on trackleaders.com.

You actually ate food, when there are starving children in Afghanistan?
Lettem eat poppies !
Lettem eat poppyseed cake!
My friend Andrea gave me a cat litter box full of Aloe Vera plants.
One of sent up a pole a yard long with a big flower cluster on the top.
Never saw one of those before! The flowers look orange and tubular.
Now it's on my front porch beaming away...

I've never seen one bloom. It must be due to the fact that one can do
so much better in CA than in TX growing things. I knew a guy who got
a cut from a big AVP and had to break off a part of a leaf to rub the
juice on his wound. There's something vaguely Hofstadterian about
that.
I've not tried using it as a salve yet. Here are picture of the plant:

That bloom looks like the French Tickler I gave Darlene back in 1974.
I'll take your word for it.
Why, thank you so much. Now I can say at least one person has
accepted at least one thing I've asserted.
Me too !

OK, then. In the tradition of former President Bill Clinton, "That
bloom DOES NOT look like the French Tickler I gave Darlene back in
1974."
I'd smile - but - I'm too young to know wot one of them is !!!!!
A bloom?
My fictitious former girlfriend 's name was stolen from a soft-porn
novel title I once saw for sale in a gas station while Mitch Harbin
and I were travelling to some football game long ago in Alabama:
"Darlene takes a Toss."
My favorite song's playing!
"Follow me, don't follow me.
I've got my spine, I've got my Orange Crush."
Well, one of my favorites.
But who cares?

I'm remembering that line too. It makes more sense than that
contradictory "Follow me, don't follow me" stuff.
That's your harshest criticism possible. I'll never recover. Off to
cry in the pecan orchard.
And on top of it, you might explain to the readers out there, if any,
what you mean by it, since your last explanation was what, maybe 7
years ago?
