You do know that your conversational opponent has a win at any point by being lazy and doing nothing. It's the same as the game of Mornington Crescent; the first player to choose subway stop Mornington Crescent wins. So one may win on demand. All human interaction is a game or has the form of a game. So what's the best strategy? The only way to win is to not play.

The Merry Minuet
Song by The Kingston Trio

They're rioting in Africa
They're starving in Spain
There's hurricanes in Florida
And Texas needs rain
The whole world is festering with unhappy souls
The french hate the Germans, the Germans hate the Poles
Italians hate Yugoslavs, South Africans hate the Dutch
And I don't like anybody very much!!

But we can be tranquil and thankful and proud
For man's been endowed with a mushroom-shaped cloud
And we know for certain that some lovely day
Someone will set the spark off
And we will all be blown away!!

They're rioting in Africa
There's strife in Iran
What nature doesn't so to us
Will be done by our fellow man

Actually your conversational opponent (or partner, if you will) doesn't have a win if they walk;
it's a lose-lose. Unless maybe if the relationship was abusive.

There are a lot of mathematical trap door functions . it's easy to generate two large prime numbers and multiply them to obtain a composite but it's hard to take that result and factor it back into the two large prime numbers . But the thing is life is full of such examples . It's very hard to create a human relationship but it's very easy to destroy it. It's a lot easier to create plutonium and spread it throughout the environment than to clean it up.

I used to think that if the earth were flat you could travel to the edge and that would prove it because you would see all these fantastic edge affects inconsistent with a spherical earth . but then someone pointed out there's a simple way out of that ,assume the earth's surface is a flat plane extending to infinity . that doesn't help much with the fact that the earth's surface is curved as evidenced by ships sailing around the curve and spacecraft in orbit but it does get around the earth having an edge.

Now that my divorce is final kinda been shopping around for a nice lady to go out with . had success with one last night , we drove out to the beach and I was trying to think of some song lyrics to sing her , to put her at ease and everything so I thought of these lyrics from the song "We've got to get out of this place " by the Animals:

"Now my girl, you're so young and pretty.
And one thing I know is true.

Human relationships are like those between molecules of a gas. If two molecules join they will remain together until forces break them apart and then the two will return to the general population. The chance of the two humans joining back up who have separated is about the same as those two separated molecules coming back together ,which is negligibly small.

It's nice spending Christmas Eve alone , I guess it just proves what a true social butterfly I am. The nice thing about being a butterfly though is if you flap your wings you'll create a hurricane at your antipodal point. Maybe not an entire hurricane , probably more like a centillionth of a hurricane. The antipodes are very unusual. No matter how you travel they never get any closer. Who did I steal that from? Check the user group's name. Did you know that the Earth has a north pole and a south pole, so therefor the entire Earth is bipolar?

Why should every hacker go out into a forest and chop a big log in two with an ax?

It teaches persistence.

It teaches getting the job done a little at a time.

And it teaches that no matter how crude and ugly the result is (a chainsaw would make a cut which
is much smoother) the result is still serviceable.
