Of course, the way to get no feedback is to ask for it because then your conversational opponent knows how to irritate you.

If there is too much communication then the system goes to white noise and then there is no communication.

Now there's revolution, but we don't know what we're fighting.

After a revolution, you're right back where you started.

Any anger displayed toward your relationship partner instantly destroys the relationship.

Once I was walking to a cafeteria and this lady almost hit me in the middle of the street so I walked to the cafeteria and was standing in line and right behind me was the lady and she said "I'm the woman who almost hit you!"

Did you ever hear of the mathematician George Dantzig? He arrived late to statistics class one day and he wrote down from the blackboard what he took to be two homework problems . He brought them solved to class the next morning, he told his professor they seemed pretty difficult. It turns out the professor had written down two open problems in statistics.

On YouTube they have the song "ghost riders in the sky " and as some background art they have this really weird painting that looks like a bunch of Vikings or somesuch gathering up these women for conquest or God knows what and I'm really curious if anybody can tell me who painted this painting and what's the history behind it , I'm just fascinated.

I know this is a ridiculous request since there hasn't been a bit of feedback in this group since Mudge died and Tian Harter left , so I don't have a lot of hope for this but hell , hope springs eternal as they day.

(PS -Tian left because I made some really horribly unwarranted
comment about a coin going through the bowels of a goat or some horrible thing so that just goes to show you need to watch what you say pretty carefully.)

I was looking at our trash pile , stuff from the house about 5 feet tall maybe 20 feet across and I have this vision of archaeologists in 10,000 years finding it and going through it carefully , cataloging all the stuff that we tossed out casually , taking 30 years of careful analysis to determine how people lived in 2020.

were little pieces of parsley beside it.

The Global Brain becomes stronger through increased communication. COVID-19 has sure increased communication, hasn't it?

Covid-19 is strengthening the globalbrain because it's forcing so much more activity online and it's online communication by which the globalbrain grows.

The Global Brain is created from communication . When this virus first started I thought the main increase in communication will be from people staying at home and getting bored and just having more communication . But now you can see online communication is increased everywhere as a way of people not getting in physical proximity of one another . Perhaps we have the globalbrain really skyrocketing now.

Course it's hard to see the globalbrain increasing in power because there's an old saying , a rising tide raises all boats . Things get better but that just looks normal when you look out laterally.

Why do people think technology dehumanizes when technology is being used to enable person-to-person communication globally and this gives the planet
a nervous system , which gives it the attributes of a living being, A.k.a. the global brain.

When someone is trying to form a relationship with another person the process is not to find someone and work to make them your partner , the process is to find someone and then do everything you can to eliminate them . Kind of sick , isn't it?

I would not have thought that COVID-19 would be instrumental in large advances to the global brain's power but it makes sense because the virus has driven so much activity online and it's online communication that increases the power of the global brain.

Be careful about sending people general information. They may interpret it as being a specific
criticism at them.

The only way to truly destroy a relationship is to starve it out; i.e. , one side or the other refuses all communication.

If you complain to your conversational opponent that he or she is not communicating with you enough , what will they do? They will refuse to answer that remark.
