So they should email each other privately then. The NG isn't for their
social bonds. Its a public forum. Seems you don't understand this either.
Then again, judging by the rest of your "logic" it seems you probably lack
basic motor skills as well.

Well right, I've become painfully aware of this. But it shouldn't be this
way.

And its their responsibility to maintain a level of proximity to the topic
in question. Otherwise the group will disintegrate.
