Has it been confirmed that Lord wore a hairpiece that was responsible
for that oh-so-perfect coiffure with the purposefully drooping few
strands in the front? Any pictures available of him without it?

This is an interesting newsgroup - a little warped, of course, to have
such interest in a 25 year old show. I am the only one in my family who
will watch the reruns. My husband and kids think I'm nuts. Of course,
when I force one of them to watch one of the shows for a few minutes, it is
always one of the really bad corny ones and they are more convinced than
ever that I have a problem.

This question came up in this newsgroup last year, and folks asked the
stars of Five-O about it at last year's Five-O convention (for details of
the convention, see Mike Quigley's web page). Apparently the hairpiece
thing is just a rumor, because at the convention it was stated that
Jack's hair was all real and all his own.
And, a makeup person followed him around with a can of hairspray at all
times!

Who the devil cares, anyway? I'm more concerned with what's inside than
with what's on top, for crying out loud.
