I agree, but what shocks me is that this could be news to anyone.

We're being tracked constantly, and while I'm all for safeguards that
prevent unwarranted eavesdropping, if you use a computer connected to
the Internet, you can be monitored no matter what you do. In fact,
there's more fascist government activity on the web than any other,
and that's what's threatening our safety and security in the first
place.

Even YOU have a usdoj.gov address.
