OK ... I understand that "Book 'em, Danno" was a mainstay line of the
original series, having watched Hawaii 5-0 for its entire original run. I
also understand that they had to incorporate it into the first show. But I
hate to say it; it's getting old ... really fast.

This last Monday it sounded like a line that was inserted just because they
felt they had to have it in the episode. Even "Danno" himself sounded
miffed by it.
I like the new show, and I like the cast and the dynamics between them,
especially the friction between Danny and McGarret, but I think they have to
do more to make it THEIR show, and not just a rehashing of the original.

Indeed ... it's little wonder MacArthur would have nothing to do with
it ... assuming he even wanted it.

Well, I am glad they decided to ditch the phrase every episode. I think
they made it "their show" a lot easier without it.
