Is there a Anthony Rapp / Rupert Grint connection?

Hello,

Just watched the 1987 "Adventures in Baby Sitting". The character Daryl
Coopersmith (sp? -- Anthony Rapp ?) is a dead ringer for the Ron Weasley
character (Rupert Grint). I thought it was just a coincidence, but then
noticed that AIBS was also produced by Chris Columbus. Is it just a
coincidence, or is there a connection?
