Yup, that's right! Exactly one year ago today (June 8th), I heared Mmmbop and
saw Hanson for the first time. We just happened to have VH1 on while we were
packing for a trip and "Mmmbop" came on... I remember thinking, "oh this is
that song everyone's talking about" and then a couple weeks later we got MON
and the rest is history! Gosh, I can't believe it's been an entire year
already!! Where did that time go? I kinda miss last summer... listening to
MON over and over and watching those first TV appearances when they were
"little"... yup, the good old days! hehe... but I'll never forget this summer
either, after the tour! :) By this time next year who knows what Hanson will
have done? One thing's for sure -- I never knew I could love a band as much as
I love Hanson...

Well that's my little "Hanson Yearbook" message... :)

~Nikki~
P.S. Hanson, if you're reading this, thanks for an awesome year!!

How sweet Nikki. I have not a clue when the first time I saw MMMBop was :::bows
her head in shame::: I rememeber that I liked it but it wasn't love. Where's
the Love did it for me. So my Hanson anniversary is probably sometime in late
July or early August. Thanks for sharing your anniversary with us {{{Nikki}}}

Same here. I liked Mmmbop, but Where's the Love made me go out and buy the
album the day after I heard it. :-)

I had MON I think in the middle of June, listened to it once maybe twice and
then when WTL came out I was hooked.

"Step away from the Hanson CD and nobody gets hurt..."-ME!
If people stopped concentrating on Hanson's hair and looks, they would find
loads of musical talent underneath :)

That's so sweet Nikki! My daughter informed me one day last month that
it was her anniversary. What anniversary, I asked? The day she fell in
love with Hanson!!

Hmmmmm...I'm trying to think back to the first day I saw MMMBop and I can't
remember. But I must say that I really fell in love with the song MMMBop even
before I saw the video. It was just a great song!! To be totally honest with
everyone, I thought that Taylor was a girl, but not for his looks, you have to
admit his voice was pretty high...I had never seen the video, hey I didn't even
know the band's name! But I knew that I had to find out because I had never
heard a song like MMMbop before and had to know who sang it. I waited everyday
for it to come on so I could record it because I didn't know if they even had a
CD. MMMBop changed everything about the music I listen to. The first time I
saw MMMBop was when I walked in from school one day and I tuned into MTV and
saw the video...that was the first time I learned the bands name...and the
song's name. I knew I had to see that video again! I saw them again later on
Rosie then Letterman...then forced my mom to bring me to Universal Citywalk to
see them Live (she was a little surprised cuz I wasn't really the type to go
to these concerts thingys, and we kinda finally decided to go at last minute)
When I got there it was packed!! I didn't know so many people had liked them!!
Seeing them live like a week after I found out that their name was Hanson was
just like WHOA! They were not even that big then...they played a little in
store concert..and I, and probably not even they, expected that crowds of fans
would come, since their CD was just released about 4 days before... that kind
of marked the beginning of my Hanson days. I was never the teeny type, but the
next Monday I came to school with a Hanson pin and a story to tell...but to my
shock, all my peers either did not know of them or started insulting them
because of their looks. They actually thought I was weird for liking them...but
I defended them.... My year anniversary passed...but it's realy nice to
reminisce...just to think...they were that band that I saw at Citywalk, I just
thought they would just be another band with a good song, but look how big they
are today. I had a good time at that Sam Goody in Universal Citywalk, and I
almost never went, I am glad I did though, if you think about it, they are too
big now to do those small in-store performances...and the next time we see them
it'll be in a concert with massive amounts of people...They have grown to be so
big!! Who would've ever predicted it?

Thanks for reading, though you may not care when my MMMBop anniversary
was...I'm mostly babbling, but thought I felt I should share...

Hey... Cool anniversaries, everyone!!! Well, mine was pretty late. I bought the
"MMMBop" single on the day I watched "The Lost World" which was like in late
May of last year. I only listened to it once... Then I kinda dissed them for
awhile an ignored them until July. It was when I got my Entertainment Weekly
in the mail on July 21st, 1997, and I saw them on the cover. So, I read the
article, went out and bought the CD, and I was in love with them from that
moment on. And now, my one year anniversary will be perfect because their
coming here to Seattle on July 21st, 1998 to end their concert tour! Yay!!! And
what's even better is that my seat is eleven rows from the stage! AAAHHH!!!

Love you all (and Hanson) to death...

::gulps::: If Wanda is my big sister and she has a daughter then does that make
me a aunt? Woohoo, tell Wende she has a young cool new online aunt. She sounds
like a lot of fun.

When I first saw hanson, me and my brothers were trying to figure out if it was
2 girls and a boy or 3 boys or what! ( No offense!) So I forgot
(Unfortunately) when I fell headoverheels in love w/hanson. I wish I
remembered!
