Woah. And we thought the Melrose Place appearance was bizzare?!? Welcome to
the movie "Being John Malkovich". It was really funny, but utterly un-Hansony
and completely like.. ::cough:: grown up. There was this scene.. and *boom*
Hanson, seven feet tall on the movie screen... it's not new footage or
anything, and I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone who's hoping to see
the movie. They don't play a big role in it or anything.. it's sort of in
passing and probably everyone has already seen it. Egads! I wonder if they gave
their permission?

After almost not being able to get into "Anywhere But Here" last night, my
mother almost took me to see that. How was that movie?

Did Hanson appear in this movie, or was there just footage of them?

I enjoyed it a lot, actually. It was very dark and clever... completely unlike
anything else I've ever seen. It's probably an R, though, (and if it's not, it
should be) so I suspect a lot of Hanson fans won't get to see it.

It was.. like Kafka would be if he was alive today. Oh.. and if he was
entertaining ;)

It was just old footage of them.. perhaps from '98. They integrated a bunch of
famous people into the movie (Brad Pitt was another appear-ee) in a vaguely
Forest Gump kind of way. Only.. not really. It wasn't doctored footage.. it
just just exactly what you've already seen if you keep up with Hanson
appearances ;)

Oooh, I've wanted to see this movie ever since they first started making it
(I'm a huge John Malkovich fan), and it STILL ISN'T IN MY CITY! *slams head
into computer screen* Sorry...I...uh...so they were in the movie, huh? :)

Please do! Email me if you don't want to spoil it for everyone else, but
there's no way I'll be able to watch the movie for at least...2 or 3 years. ;o)
