some people from NYC. my moms work is really popular and lots of stars
go in there. Well anyway the people asked my mom if she has met many
stars in here before. My mom said very very many. Then the people wich
were a lady and her daughter, said they were in Hollywoods Starbucks and
guess who they ran into??? HANSON, yup i said HANSON. well anyway they
walked up to Zac and asked if they could get a pic with him. These were
his exact words--- "NO" we dont want people to know who we are. So they
walked up to ike and tay and they said sure why not. Why does my fav.
always have to be a jerk. That doesnt change my feelings for zac though
he is still drop dead FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everytime I read something like this I all-of-the-sudden feel bad. Dunno
why. It's like, I have this image of Hanson in my head as being really
nice, respectful people. Which, they probably are. But, I sometimes
forget that they're not perfect and that they can have the tendancy to
be rude or not very nice. And I guess that's ok. I mean, it would have
been nicer if Zac just agreed to take the picture to make the people
happy. But, I really do understand why he wouldn't want to. If people
were constantly asking me for an autograph, or a picture.... it would
definantly get on my nerves, too. Still doesn't mean you have to be
rude, though. Zac could have easily and politely said "no", instead of
"NO". There is a difference, right?

That's nice to know. I'm a really sarcastic person and sometimes I come
off as being rude, instead of sarcastic, like I intended. I think we're

Jerk. Hmmm... from that story I didn't get jerk I got normal guy. Imagine
you were him. There are times when I'm sure he doesn't want to be recognized
as "Zac Hanson, rock n roll star." In fact, I'm betting that he doesn't want
to be thought of that way at all. Maybe he just wanted to be "that dude over
there in the hat minding his own business." If he didn't want to be
recognized then that's perfectly sensible. Taking pictures attracts needless
attention.
If I had people tracking every move I made I wouldn't be thought of as a
wonderfully nice, always-smiley and chipper person. I would be thought of as
an occasionally moody, sometimes in my own world and many times dazed
person. And chances are that most people wouldn't come off too great either.
Just because he wasn't absolutely pouring on the charm with a couple of
strangers doesn't mean that he's not a warm and caring person. Just means
he's human. Not perfect but certainly not a jerk.
You gotta realize how tough it must be to deal with fame -- especially at
his age. His privacy has been reduced to the minimal times he gets to spend
with his family and friends where nobody else is looking in. I'm sure he
appreciates the fans, but he doesn't need to show it all the time. Do you
know how exhausting that would be?

Eeeeek! Sorry he hadda be a jerk to you or your friends sweetie. He was mean to
about 3 of my friends who met him at the World Cup, 'cept he took pictures with
them. But then folded his arms and acted like he was the bomb.I'm sure he'll
grow out of it, and if not, well, we had our moments with the old Zac =D He's
grown up and has dealt with screaming fans since he was 11. That has to be hard
on him, But that is no reason to be mean to HIS fans, but it is an excuse =(

Stories like that are very rarely true. And so what if it is? We know Isaac,

I've heard fans talk about Zac's attitude and really...what 13 year old guy
isn't a jerk? *LOL* I mean most of them are at that age. Its just a stage. He
might be a jerk, I don't know, but I'm pretty sure its just a stage. I'm sure
he'll get over it. If I met him and he was a jerk I'd be like "Hey, dude, I
bought your album!" *LOL* J/K. He's still a little kid, and from what I've
noticed he seems to get annoyed easily. Maybe its just his personality. He's
growing up. Its normal. :o) But I think he was that way when he was 11 too, so
I don't know. Maybe its just him. At least he doesn't suck up to his fans.

take his picture. I mean, imagine complete strangers walking up to you and

it or not. And I would probably get a bit rude sometimes if people were always

I used to swear A LOT. As in every other word was the f word or any of those
other words. I haven't cursed very much this summer, mostly because I only do

just because it's possible that they *could* do bad things, doesnt mean that
they *do* for sure.
It seems, when they first became popular, and everyone was a teenie, everyone
thought they were perfect. Then over time they came to terms with the
possibilities that they could in fact be the opposite. But just because you can
accept the fact that they might be horrible people, doesnt mean they in fact
are!
they *could* shock the hell out of *you* by actually being genuine people.
And everyone is allowed an "off" day when they act grumpy to people. You never
know what could have happend before then.. maybe their girlfriend of 5 years
just dumped them [note: this is just an example] or maybe something like that
happend and they acted pissy that day. Or maybe you were just reading too much
into it. And Zac has a tendancy to be very blunt and straightforward--a reason
why i respect him, he is honest--and some people may think he is just being
rude. but he is just being himself.

i agree with you. once i was talking to their "cousin" on aol, and she told me
they are really conceited, especially their parents. zac being "always hyper"
is just a PUBLICITY ACT. she also said that taylor isn't shy at all, in fact,
he's a complete jerk. she said ike is the only one nice since he doesn't have a
lot of fans. their parent act conceited too. i don't know if what she said is
100% true, but i kinda believe her. i have to admit, if i were hanson, i would
be conceited, it's a normal thing.

stresses of fame..many turn to drinking, drugs, etc. And I know you may think
I'm odd saying that.. refrencing to Zac..b\c he's only 13. But Drew Barrymore
was an alcoholic by like age 10. I'm sure I would be completely
exhausted..having people *constantly* asking for pictures, autographs, etc. My
alone time with family and friends is something I cherish more than anything.
I can just imagine what Hanson goes through.. think about your personal alone
time [or with family and friends] divided by 1000..or more! I'm sure that's
what it's like to them! So give them a break everyone in a while..we can't sit
here and say he's a "bad boy" and we can't say he's an "angel" because fact of

Okay all I can comment on is my personal experience. When I met Zac backstage
he came up to me and was very polite and sweet. Now if other fans have had
negative experiences, I'm sorry, but just as my experience doesn't prove he's
always nice yours doesn't prove that he's rude. Maybe there were
circumstances that day that you don't know about...and I doubt that any fans
believe Hanson are 100% perfect, because we all know thats impossible. ~Juline

friends were like "Dude, you have way to much energy, I'm going to try to be
you for a day" so like alot of my friends tried to be hyper one day at school

you might be "shocked" to know that I haven't done anything that would shock
anyone if they found out what I did. Meaning, if I was famous...I would be
me...and I haven't done anything that I would need to keep secret from my fans.
I know thats me and not Hanson, I'm just letting you know that there are some
teenagers who don't do necessarily "bad things" (ie smoke, drink, cuss, steal,
lie about everything, sleep around...)

This is how I see it. My grandpa is famous, so I kinda know how the fame thing
works, especially since I go through a lot of it when I'm in Nashville(I know
how Hanson's siblings feel, getting pics taken and asking for autographs).
There's a place and time for everything. Some people don't realize that when
someone is just walking down the street, or eating out, or just doing something
that has nothing to do with their buisness, that is not the time to ask for a
pic or autograph. AT that time, the person has every right to be pissy and rude
because it is their personal time. However, if it was backstage at a concert,
or something like that, it is the right time to be asking for pics and
autographs, and the famous person shouldn't be acting rude. That's how I was
raised and that's how I see things. I'm pretty sure a lot of famous people see
it that way too. Unfortunately, the fans don't. So just a little advice to
anyone who tries to approach Hanson on their personal time, as much as you may
want to, don't. It's rude. That includes going to hotels or whatever. Let them
alone. Wait until an appropriate time. And keep the relatives out of it.

She was just saying that she hates how people think they are perfect because
they are normal teens just like the rest of us and its possible they could do

That doesnt mean a thing. If Ike curses up a storm they would never show that.
If Tay was conceited they'd never show that. Anything that could hurt their
image would be not included in these videos or MOE. I'm not saying Hanson
stages theirselves because I honestly believe they are sweet people but I'm
saying just cause they seem it in MOE and their videos definitely doesn't mean
they are.

It looked to me like he was saying Zac gets a day off from recording (which
rarely happens) and he would like to spend it with his family but fans bothered
him for his pic which makes him touchy and then they all call him rude just
because he rather be with his family instead of taking pics for strangers.

I think Ashley has stated numerous times that Hanson does not use potty
language. In fact, if I remember correctly he said something along the lines of
the worst thing he ever heard Isaac say was H E double hockey sticks... He
_tried_ to clear that rumor up a long time ago....
