If you've ever wondered what GRRM sounds like...

Recent interview given in Croatia:

I think this one is from February 2002:

These Songs will not be to everyone's taste, for there is little
variation among them, all of them containing the same words, such as:
hero, knight, horseman, galley slave, serpent, dragon, wolf, lion,
eagle, falcon's nest and sword, sabres, lances, necklets, medallions,
decrees, heads chopped off, slaves carried away, etc. May those who
find them pleasing sing them; may those who do not, go off to sleep.

Actually, the Daenerys chapter appears to be a brand new one,
from the very brief report we've received. Could you post what you
recall about it?

Dude, you dropped that last bomb very well.

Now, to comment. It seems that Dany has a very good head on her
shoulders and a well developed sense of justice, but we also see that
those damned dragons are getting way out of control. I wonder where
Martin is going with that.

Nothing in Martin's world is entirely good, and nothing in Martin's
world is entirely flawless and obeys the rules perfectly. Of course
the dragons are going to be dangerous, and I think it's good that
they're developing a taste for man-meat.

Aw shucks.

On the plus side, we can start one in this group without having to
listen to Mister C whine about us stealing them from him.
