The most recent addition to the American Cinematheque’s "Godzilla
50th Anniversary Tribute" is the US premiere of the King of the
Monsters’ latest film-- GODZILLA: TOKYO SOS (aka GODZILLA X MOTHRA X
MECHAGODZILLA: TOKYO SOS). Kiryu fans are in for a treat since both
GODZILLA: TOKYO SOS and its predecessor GODZILLA AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA
(GxMG) will be shown at the festival in Japanese with English
subtitles. This will be first US theatrical screenings open to the
general public for both films, and director Masaaki Tezuka is taking
time off from his latest movie to attend the event, take part in a Q&A
session after GxMG, and chat with fans and sign autographs.

Tsuburaya Productions is also getting in on the fun by supplying
episode 10 of the classic 1966 series ULTRAMAN. Godzilla fans should
remember this episode as the one where Ultraman faces off with the
monster Jiras/Keerah (a Godzilla with a frill added to the neck).

The complete film schedule (including dates and times) for the
"Godzilla 50th Anniversary Tribute" is now available on Henshin!

Any out of towners coming to LA for the Godzilla film festival can
order advance tickets to the 13 Toho movies being shown from June
25-29. According to the American Cinematheque:

"The best way for people to buy tickets in advance is to fax our
Egyptian Theatre box office at fax: (323) 467-0163 with their credit
card information and the shows they want to see. There's an
additional $1.00 per ticket charge (regular tickets are $9.00
General, $8.00 Students/Seniors and $6.00 Cinematheque Members,
except for the 3-film Toho Monster Marathon on Sunday June 27th at
2:00 PM, which is $12.00 General, $10.00 Students/Seniors and $8.00
Members.)"

As well, Tsuburaya Productions has expressed interest in helping in
this year's G-Fest XI. Will let you all know as things develop.

G-Fest is also getting contributions from 4Kids and Dark Horse Comics
who are behind Ultraman Tiga.

Stay Tuned and if you are able, attend BOTH events! Turning out to be
a good year for Ultraman as well as Godzilla.

Hope this helps
